This is my latest creation and took me the longest to paint to date, with so much going on this painting took me on my own magical Journey and I loved every minute of it A few years back I used to go to a spiritual circle where we were all guided on a path in meditation and this piece took me right back there. My inspiration behind the piece wasTangle Catkin from Fae Nation, she is enchanting and delightful person and also has created an amazing portal to the fae world and next month I’m to be artist of the month for her.

“Let The Magic Begin”
The world of enchantment is never far away: Just before you close your eyes and say some loving words of protection, inspiration, love and joy. With a wish, you cast a love so pure for all in this world to see.
Then close your eyes, relax deep inside and let the magic of your dreams come alive. This leads you towards nature on your faerie path; let the scent of the flowers and the forest fill your being with goodness so alive.
Listen closely and you will hear the chatter of the forest, the rustle of the leaves, and to your surprise, a little voice greets you with a smile, and he wishes you the sweetest journey of your life.
Onward along your faerie path you tread, and look at the wonder all around, everything is so pure and perfect. And you are at one with the magic of nature. The love fills you and your heart opens up with an inner glow.
The Faerie Goddess appears in front of you. Watching over you, she sparkles and shimmers in the twilight. Her pure blue eyes speak to you of a world so old, a playground of harmony in life, until with a knowing smile she understands that your return to all things fae a new life will begin.
You see your reflection in her gaze, where you see yourself sparkle brightly with faerie eyes.
With your staff of light, you will go forth to protect what’s close and keep nature safe inside.
This painting was created with Acrylic paints on 300 gsm Windsor and Newton watercolor paper. Using thin layers of color I built them up slowly, to create eye catching colors and depth. Later this month I will be launching some new greeting cards, prints and pendants at my etsy store.
This is one of my latest paintings created in July 2010. Due to my paintings taking longer to paint, I decided to test myself to see what I could create in a short amount of time and this is the result, this one took me a couple of days to complete. I really enjoy creating pieces that are spontaneous it allows for me total freedom and I never now what will be the end result. While creating Whisper of Spirit” I put myself in a meditative state and just let my mind and paintbrush flow. Heres a little write up that sums up my feelings on my art.
Dance to the spirit within and imagine your wings lifting you to the places of your dreams to be embraced by love.
I wanted to create something that "speaks" and connects you to your inner voice where you can listen to the ones that speak with you through spirit. The blue tones in this painting represent the ether and the words whispered in the air, which we pick up in our minds from time to time. This reminds you that those who always love you will reach out in their own special way. The purples represent visions, intuition and wisdom all of which let us see things more clearly than before. The yellow and green shades, and the sparkle of light all show the love forever glowing in each of our hearts.
She was painted with acrylic paints on Watercolor paper 300gsm.
Its my plan to create one of these a month, and sell the originals, one of my first was absinthe, which is now for sale, and is the first of my paintings to be sold. Whisper of spirit is also now available for sale.
Well new beginnings is upon us once again. Theres something quite special and positive about new starts, whether we’ve had a good or bad previous year, its time to revitalize new hopes, and have fresh new outlooks and pay homage to ourselves. All that matters from one new year to the next is to smile and put some sunshine in our hearts, love and simply do what make you happy. For me I had a magical 2009 I saw many new pastures and met some lovely folk and gained some new friends here at Lunarian. I take this time to welcome some new friends, what ever your here for whether its a fan of my art, or to be inspired may the magic of the earth be with you and have a wonderful new year. Towards the end of last year I created this new piece called “Absinthe” and I decided to create a new t-shirt for designs by humans so heres my “Fairy Queen of the Drunken Green” and is now up for voting at DBH.

I based this painting on a friend of mine called Mercarina. Its about the message of our seas and how we must remember to reconnect to our source of life. When we visit the sea we all feel connected to her and gaze out to the horizon and wonder what lies beneath. We all feel joy and happiness when we visit, its a place we often revisit in our minds when we need to relax.
Its time for us to Nurture our feelings to our humble beginings so that we learn to simply live in harmony to nature and ourselves. I have used Larimar for love and its connection to the dolphins and to Atlantis, Larimar is also connected to our throat chakra the first chakra within the body that connects us to the spiritual, its our time to connect with our spirtual waters that has brought so much life here on earth. Pearls for there to represent the moon and the strong tides flows within our life, and citrine I used as a protection symbol for it never needs cleansing and brings more strength to the healing qualities to the sea. Cirine also carries healing qualities form the sun and is connected to our solar plexus which motivates us to take action. I have placed it within the infinity symbol which represents love for ever. Long live the water spirits and may they feel the love we have for them in being our guardians to the water element.
