Well new beginnings is upon us once again. Theres something quite special and positive about new starts, whether we’ve had a good or bad previous year, its time to revitalize new hopes, and have fresh new outlooks and pay homage to ourselves. All that matters from one new year to the next is to smile and put some sunshine in our hearts, love and simply do what make you happy. For me I had a magical 2009 I saw many new pastures and met some lovely folk and gained some new friends here at Lunarian. I take this time to welcome some new friends, what ever your here for whether its a fan of my art, or to be inspired may the magic of the earth be with you and have a wonderful new year. Towards the end of last year I created this new piece called “Absinthe” and I decided to create a new t-shirt for designs by humans so heres my “Fairy Queen of the Drunken Green” and is now up for voting at DBH.

Messages from the Sea

I based this painting on a friend of mine called Mercarina. Its about the message of our seas and how we must remember to reconnect to our source of life. When we visit the sea we all feel connected to her and gaze out to the horizon and wonder what lies beneath. We all feel  joy and happiness when we visit, its a place we often revisit in our minds when we need to relax.

Its time for us to Nurture our feelings to our humble beginings so that we learn to simply live in harmony to nature and ourselves. I have used Larimar for  love and its connection to the dolphins and to Atlantis, Larimar is also connected to our throat chakra the first chakra within the body that connects us to the spiritual, its our time to connect with our spirtual waters that has brought so much life here on earth. Pearls for there to represent the moon and the strong tides flows within our life, and citrine I used as a protection symbol for it never needs cleansing and brings more strength to the healing qualities to the sea. Cirine also carries healing qualities form the sun and is connected to our solar plexus which motivates us to take action. I have placed it within the infinity symbol which represents love for ever. Long live the water spirits and may they feel the love we have for them in being our guardians to the water element.

My Latest creation was inspired by a recent trip to Hawaii, snorkeling with the fish. I love the ocean and how the sea and water make me feel, so happy fresh and full of wonder for the mysteries of the sea.

Earth Day 2009

This design is of the Goddess and the fae. I used amethyst, peridot, and green amber for there healing properties, for cleansing and protecting the earth. The Fae are our guardians to nature spirit, protecting our sacred land.
I placed the green amber over the earth, with the earth symbol painted on it. The  healing properties of amber help to energize, it also helps the heart chakra bringing Joy and love. Amethyst is one of the most powerful healing crystals creating peace and oneness. Peridot also helps the heart chakra, It is a stone of lightness that counters the effects of negative emotions, and detoxifies negative emotions, bringing them to comfortable levels. It also brings about necessary change, It also helps you understand your destiny and spiritual purpose, helping you attain your full potential. All in all, the stone sharpens the mind and opens it to new levels of awareness. In total the magic of these three stones bring positive, healing, protective thoughts to out scared home earth :)

These Gothic wings are my latest creation especially for DBH, I just entered this competition and wanted to see what you think and whether you could vote for me the more votes I get the more chance it will get into print.
I’ve been wanting to get back into designing clothes for a long time so this is a great opportunity to see how well my designs go on the open market and see what people really like.

This kind of design has been done before but mainly for the male market and I wanted something sexy for the female market too. This will he the first of many designs I hope so here’s to the future.

Its been far too long since I’ve created some new art ;) So here is the finished piece called “Temptation” and the model is the beautiful “Nettle”

I am so happy with this painting the first thing I notice is Nettles beautiful eyes they draw you in to her beauty. I took inspiration from a photo I worked from with this piece, it was a rather tempting photo, which said everything to me. I wanted to add a goddess feel to this, and the crescent of the moon fitted perfectly around the face representing the goddess of the night. I know Nettle feels passionate about the fae, nature and our earth so I added a sultry little fae who works with Nettle to tempt you to return to all things nature.
