I have been working very hard on some new Nidlongdir projects for the last few weeks.

A new cave is going to open in Dragonia in a few weeks. Until now the Kaputs Cave only has been open to the fairies and gnomes of Dragonia, but soon it will be opened for humans as well. The Kaputs Cave is the craft and art centre of Dragonia. In this cave you are going to find all sorts of Nidlongdir arts and crafts projects.

I am co working with Fairy Songs Art Stamps, to create some lovely Nidlongdir rubber stamps. The stamps are not for sale jet, but will be soon! I am going to send the stamps to the crafters in the Kaputs Caves and ask them to create some lovely craft ideas for the stamps.

I have also been working on the column for the autumn issue of Faezine.com. You can look forward to the start of a new Nidlongdir fairy tale. The fairy reporter Plotka Hildur has found a very exciting diary that she is going to publish in Fazine. I can't tell you more at the moment!

I have been assisting The Blue Bells Inn with the new decorations of all the inn's suites, and soon the Parrot Nest suite will be opened to the public. If you plan on a visit in Nidlongdir you should try to book this suite, and do bring your children. A fairy nanny will take you on a pirate treasury hunt, and as reward you will get the animal spirit talisman.

I am very proud and happy to have been selected for the October 2009 Froudian Artist of the Month. This award means a lot to me:)

To day I started on the oil painting of MR. Tandrill. I hate to start on a new canvas, so I decided to start with the face. If I had been painting this in water color I had been all over the paper by now, but I am new to oil, so I take it a bit more slowly.

Today I borrowed an overhead projector so that I could transfer the gnome to my canvas. I only did a very light drawing no details.

I am trying something new. I did a digital sketch for a new painting. The painting is going to be painted in oil. I never painted in oil before so I am properly going to mess it up, but I will post my progress so you can follow my ...work. This preview is only a small part of the painting!
