About Me:I'm 25 y/o, I have Dip. of Design and Illustration, I work part-time as a retail monkey and the rest of my time is devoted to my art. I LOVE art, I live eat and breathe it - took me a while to come to terms with the fact that I was never going to escape it and that Im miserable without it so might as well!
In addition to art I love music, playing listening and singing. I love animals and horseriding, I like being active and working out at the gym.
Music:Mostly anything, as long as it's not rude or hateful. My fave bands/singers include Jeff Buckley, Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone, Live, the Cure, and recently Jose Gonzalez and OneRepublic.
Movies:My favourite is the Last Unicorn, it still makes me cry lol! I also love Donnie Darko, 300, Lilo & Stitch, V for Vendetta. Recently I like Surf's Up. I LOVE the Monty Python movies too they are hilarious!
TV:Don't really watch it but I don't mind Law & Order. I do love my Today show in the mornings. Recently I was fasinated by the Aussie series Underbelly - it was horrific and gruesome but really interesting.
Likes:Music, art, poetry, tattoo's, art, health, love
Dislikes:loud noises, screamy music, angry people
Vices:coffee! [only decaf but still]
Virtues:I love everyone until they give me a reason not to ;)
There were a lot of bugs in the program that I ran, so I had to go through the php with a fine toothed comb [not an easy feat when you don't know php] but after many cups of coffee I got there in the end.
It's done now though and I can let my breath out once again. :D
I'm also very excited to reveal my BRAND NEW LOGO! [which you can see here] Miss Megs is the 'group name' of my websites, which will include a tattoo design website, and other products as I get time to launch them.

Hello everyone! I am so sorry for being away for so long - I have been incredibly busy, and I have so many homes on the 'net that sometimes I find it overwhelming. :)
I love this place though, and the people here, so while I have been lurking it is time I wrote something.

That and a lot of painting, has kept me super busy! Also, I have an appointment coming up with a very important doctor; I suffer from some kind of illness that hasn't been diagnosed, but from my test results is most likely auto-immune. I was seeing a rheumatologist because I was getting arthritis but he could not find a rheumatological cause, so now I am going to see someone bigger and more wide-ranging. My appointment is on the 1st and I am prayinng for a diagnosis... please hold me in your thoughts, friends!
Also, here is my latest painting. I have had trouble getting the journal to work on my computer lately so I hope this works :) the beautiful Be has already picked the mood of it already. This is "Tattered", my moth fae. Thankyou and enjoy x
I finally figured how to put my art up :) I put it in my public photo's - it's really easy, I thought it was very user friendly.
It's been a busy week! I'm setting up to start doing markets, I quit my part time job [eek] and I've been madly painting a mermaid. I just started doing an oil painting class and the mermaid is something I'm working on at home. Hopefully I'll be able to post her soon!
I have a mermaid ACEO on Ebay at the moment too so fingers crossed that sells... not used to doing this Ebay and ACEO selling XD
