Sorry I haven't posted in a while. But in that time I did manage to get a lot of art done. I think I'm changing the way I use color a bit, at least in the paintings I do for myself. I'm having a lot more fun with color glazing. Masquerade Prints of Masquerade are available on my site now. Swan Princess ACEO Deep Sea Mermaid ACEO Lotus Fairy ACEO

3 New paintings, Art Scene International
Sunday, March 16, 2008, 03:53 PM CST [General]
These 3 paintings were the latest set for the book I am working on. They were all blue but I managed to make them all look different. You can see the full images on my site: This month I was featured in the German Illustration and Airbrushing magazine Art Scene International. Though it is in English, I suspect the text has been translated back and forth a couple times:

When the dragonsite first started in 2001 the plan was to cut out retailers and just sell the dragons exclusively via the website (hence the name :) ) the plan was very short lived though thankfully! but the name stayed, i actually like the name and think it suits the companys various dragon ranges. |

Your work is wonderful. I really enjoyed seeing more of it on your site. What a rush to walk into a shop and see your things there! earthen1 |

The Dragonsite started as just that, Dragons by named artists and sculptors but they expanded with an experiment with Faeries (since they are fantasy figures and they always said they would sculpt other fantasy creatures) the problem was, the faeries took off much better than anyone could have expected and they started to take over and they became very popular and thats when people who only knew the faeries and not the earlier dragons started asking why "dragonsite"? simple really, they started years before sculpting high quality dragons, it's just that most of the faery collectors didn't know this :) |

Nice to meet you, and see your art work! Your work with color is incredible!! Do you use watercolors? |

Wow! It's a small world. I've seen you on myspace and deviantart. I love your work. I hope you don't mind if I add to you my friends :) Rebecca |

Hi Meredith, Thank you for the friend-ing. Lots to look at in your website: I particularly liked "Lady of the Ivy Gate" and "Throne of Ravens". Blessings, Lise |
What a delightful picture to see! I can't help but wonder at whom was happier, the customer over the beautiful artwork they picked up, or the creator so happy to see her dreams on display.
TommyIt really makes me happy for you, and I sincerely wish you continued success. :^)
