About Me: Once upon a time, I ran off with a bear to live in the woods near the big lake, where we are raising three beautiful children, four bad cats and a very spoiled pit bull....I have been drawing and painting for most of my life, with a focus on faeries and other magical creatures. I've only recently been pursuing an artistic career, and it's been somewhat scary to put my mad scribblings out there for anyone to see.

Movies: The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Excalibur, What Dreams May Come, Star Wars, all of Kevin Smith's movies, Gattaca, Shrek 1, 2, + 3 (I am, after all, married to Shrek), The Princess Bride, X-men 1+2(but not three, which made me sad), most bad 'B' movies from forty years ago
TV: Like everybody else here, I like Dr. Who...Firefly, Buffy, The X-files, Star Trek, CSI, Law and Order, Medium, The Closer, Heroes, Journeyman(why did it have to end???!)House, Torchwood....
Books: Stephen King, Robin Hobb, Katherine Kerr, Charlaine Harris, JK Rowling, Neil Gaiman, Terry Moore (Strangers In Paradise, so addictive!!!!), Arthur Conan-Doyle, CS Lewis (who oddly gave me pagan leanings at an early age), JRR Tolkein, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, Anne Rice......
Likes: Comic books, when my kids decide I'm furniture and we're all just flopped out on the couch, Italian food, the SCA (and being my husband's number one Stick Betty), being a Pagan mom, the way Bristol board feels against my hand, wildflowers, trees, black coffee....
Dislikes: Mean people, bullies, almost every single photograph of me in existence, cantaloupe, watermelon flavored candy(oddly, I like actual watermelon), snow, anyone who has mistreated a child or animal, things that are too sweet, being told what to do....
Hobbies: Embarrassing my teenaged children, gaming, movies, my computer, sewing, the SCA, singing (see also: 'Embarrassing my teenaged children'), tarot reading
