Based off our cat Zithy (a tortoiseshell tabby.. hence "tortifly"). She'll be up on ebay this sunday, provided I get around to it.
Faerie Wings
Haven't got much art done lately... but I'm working on a new faerie costume. I just finished the wings. They're made of cellophane on a wire frame. Kinda tattered... with fairy dust glitter. I love them. However I realized after they were done that the back brace isn't very practical. A simple sturdy U shape or something might have been better. But oh well... maybe next pair will turn out better. They were surprisingly simple to make. First cellphane kind I've ever made. They won't have shoulder straps... they're meant to go down the back of a bodice/corset. Seems to work rather well... just the back brace design is wonky.
World of Warcraft
The peer pressure was too much. I've jumped off the cliff with all
the other lemmings and purchased World of Warcraft. Anyone here
play?

These look great! I'm actually going to start making my own wings for an upcoming festival like this! Would you mind sharing some more info on your process? Where did you find your materials, how did you attatch the celo to the wire?
