    Dragonflies and Angels

    Saturday, May 10, 2008, 3:27 PM [General]

Hello: Hope everyone is having a beautiful weekend.  The sun is out here and I have a feeling all the wee folke are up to their tricks because the roses look so beautiful and birds are singing so sweetly outside my study window.  BB Morganlafey

Here is a new poem, I hope you enjoy it.

    If the tadpoles and dragonflies
    know the secret
    in their souls
    why does it take
    a lifetime for
    we humans to
    understand?
    The comings
    and the goings
    of the seasons
    filled with change
    the unbridled sense
    of wonder
    the fall of
    springtime rain
    ..
    Some turn away
    completely
    they’ve lived to
    shut their doors
    while others realize that
    hate is not the cause
    for which
    we have been born.

    Goodness is all
    around us
    but evil works to
    blind our eyes
    pray, let’s  love
    each other
    and expose
    evil’s dirty lies.

    If little tiny creatures
    no bigger than a thumb
    can learn to live without
    the concept of
    blacken, mortal sin,
    why can’t we
    of higher thought
    know the number
    of angels that dance
    on the head
    of any pin?

Bless the Goddess, I figured it out!

    Sunday, May 4, 2008, 2:05 PM [General]

I am most happy to say, I finally figured it out.  So to thank the Great Godess and all the fairy folk I am inviting anyone to drop in on my existing site I also want to drop this wee poem for all to enjoy.

    Many Blessings,

    Morganlafey

Of the old faith am I
    given to pangs of
    needs and desires
    filling cauldron’s
    that boil and steam
    over the raging heat
    of the midnight fire.

Of the old faith am I
a tiny tattoo upon my face
    showing to all that
    I can with stand
    the pain of being
    a woman in
    a man’s land.

Of the old faith am I
    seeking out the
    subtle powers of
    herbs and tinctures
    with the proper magic
    to dissuade evil from
    taking hold and mend
    the wounds of all
    warriors’ bold.

Of the old faith am I
proud to be what I am
    dissuaded from ever
    straying to a man’s faith
    where women are evil
    and men are unclean
    where souls of all kinds
    are accepted with tolerance
    where life is revered
    and death is not feared.

I am not sure how to blog on this site

    Sunday, May 4, 2008, 1:58 PM [General]

    Greetings to Everyone.

I do not know how to blog on my own site.  I may be wrong but I think this blog will be associated with a group I joined.  I am giving it a shot - maybe someone will take pity on this wayward fae and help her to understand.

    Many Thanks,

    Morganlafey
