About Me: I am the scorpion in the sky, the flowing water in small creeks and the mysterious little crevices at the bottom of trees. I am an odd one, but someone who is fun to hang around. I always try to see the lighter things in life even in bad times. I love cats and I want to be an amazing manga artist one day! Learning about the fae is a big thing for me and I hope to find people on here who will help me with such a task.
Music: I love celtic music that makes you want to skip and dance and just let you hair down, anything that inspires me really! As far as modern music I listen to The Used, My Chemical Romance, 30 Seconds To Mars, FlyLeaf, Evanescence, Panic At The Disco, Serj Tankian and Creed. I also listen to J-Rock. Love for Gackt and Larc en Ciel. <3
Movies: Pans Labyrinth, Fairy Tale, Harry Potter(all), Lord of the Rings(all), Pirates of the Caribbean(all), Practical Magick, Edward Scissor Hands, Chocolat, The Brothers Grimm, The Cat Returns, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Howls Moving Castle, Moon Child, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Corpse Bride, Interview With A Vampire. I think I have seen to many movies ^^'
TV: Destination truth, Monster Quest, Ghost Hunters, UFO Files, Cash and Treasures, Historys Mysterys, Adult Swim, Wierd US, Fuse, Project Runway and Ace of Cakes. And I watch to much TV!
Books: I will read almost anything in the fantasy genre. I like all of Amy Browns Art books as well as Nene Thomas and Brian Fraud. I also like books about feys like Ted Andrews Enchantment Of the Fearie Realm. And I read books about the Wiccan religion from people like Scott Cunningham and Silver Raven Wolf. Reading books is ok!
Likes: Drawing, painting, hiking in the woods near creeks and building little and big makeshift houses out of fallen sticks, writing short stories and reading tons of books.
Dislikes: I am particularly afraid of the dark, and alot of times hairy spiders. I dont hate spiders but they do give me a chill once in a while. I dont like yogurt or spicy food. I am also not fond of being alone in creepy places.
Hobbies: I of course draw, collect dragons, unicorns and fearies, crystals, and feathers I find in the woods. I like to grow and dry my own herbs (not illegal ones) and little glass bottels! Collecting lovely pointy swords and knives is another one.
Heroes: Anyone who can draw, paint or sketch amazing inspirational pictures.

    Words from my attic.

    Tuesday, June 17, 2008, 01:57 PM [General]

In my room there is an attic that freaks me out just a little. One afternoon I was in my room with my door closed that led to the hallway. It was slightly drizzeling outside, and I was drawing a picture near the window. As my pencil tip reached the paper I heard a voice. Of course my first reaction was Tony (my little brother) was playing in the hallway and making funny noises. I heard the words E' Sahm Bey, and then silence. I opened my door and found that my little brother was not there. I walked out to the living room were my sister was watching TV. I asked if Tony was in the hallway, she said no he was in the basement in his room playing on the PS2. The attic has stayed silence since then, but whenever I am forced to climb up into the attic I am quite weary of it. I dont like being there alone, could be faulty wiring making me paranoid, or it could be something else. Who knows? Anybody recognize those words?

I think that's an online site where the faeries go to sell goods... ;^)

I see you're a Wiccan... Another word derived from "wisdom." :^)

A warm wind on my face...

    Friday, May 23, 2008, 02:59 PM [General]

I do like the warm weather but I prefer the electric feel of a cloudy sky....... Wishing it was a little cloudier outside.  So recently I have seen an increase in the mushrooms in our fern bed. Its near a pine tree in our backyard, I built what I call a faerie house, which is just fallen sticks from the tree on the side of our house, put up against the tree in a house-ish looking way. It makes me think....... is that a fearie ring? There were tones of the mushrooms and I only saw one ring, it was around our azaelia bush. I wish I could have taken a picture of all the shrooms but most of them have died off. T.T sadness...

    Faerie Festival!

    Monday, April 21, 2008, 01:24 PM [General]

The faerie festival at Spoutwood Farms in Pennsylvania is coming up! The first weekend in May! Well I see any fellow enchanted folk there? Also I wanted to say Happy Beltaine! Since I wont be able to say it on the 30th or the 1st, I wanted to say it now. Blessed be to all who celebrate that spring has come and that summer is arriving! :D

I believe a number of Enchanted Folk are planning a Merry Meet at the festival on Saturday! They're to meet at the Faerie Magazine Booth at 1:00 PM, so if you show up there at that time, I'm sure you'll see some of us! I know I'll be there, snapping photos as a photogra-fae!

    Dreams?!

    Tuesday, April 1, 2008, 12:00 PM [General]

Have you ever felt strong emotions, pain or the feeling of objects aroung you in a dream? Last night I had another realistic dream, so realistic that I could feel sadness and fear and even love. I could feel the touch of paper and the softness of fabric on my waist, the touch of a friends hand on my shoulder. And even the heat from an explosion and the feeling of a bullet going through my neck.

I have experienced dreams like this often. But it always surprises me when I wake up. I'm sure there are others that feel these things in there dreams and I wonder if this is a regular thing? Or even if this is something that the brain can do when you sleep? I dont know. But I wonder. Can someone answer my question? Or even share what they have experienced in there dreams.

I experience feeling and emotion in dreams,I have been crying or laughing in dreams and woken up still crying/laughing.

I think, that the dreaming is as real as the waking. We're just not as good at manifesting our influence there. Like fish flopping on the shore, you might make art in the sand, but most of the time you're just flopping until you wake.
Some people, however are mudskippers. *nod*

What an awesome experience, wow. I too would love to understand more of these things... I've never had such realistic dreams as yours, but apparently I laugh a lot when I'm asleep & have often woken up doing so - just wish I could remember what I found so funny!

I usually have realistic dreams. I think this is common. Of course, they can be good or bad. I have had dreams where I actually believed I died, going through the whole experience, and others where I was in love. The brain is an amazing thing. It is,in my opinion, basically, what I am.

Hello my names Amber! I just joined and I would like to meet people who have had encounters with the other realm. I would like to learn more about the "little people" and I would like to know if people have had encounters in places other then England or Ireland, like America? Maybe even near Maryland! I hope to make some new friends! :D

Hello Amber, thank you for joining us on EF, I'm sure you will find many wonderful people here like you, interested in the fae realm. There is a lovely lady in America called Jesse (members.enchantedfolk.com...) whose blog on 6th Feb, asked for EF to please answer her question 'Do you believe in faeries' - for a project she's doing at college and I think you'd get on great! Although I've never actually seen a fairy, I DO BELIEVE and they've made my heart happy ever since I was young...
    Have fun,
