    About Me: I am a writer. I am the editor in chief of 9 of Swords Magazine. 9 of Swords magazine's mission is to promote independent writers, artists and musicians. Visit 9 of Swords Magazine.
    Music: The Smashing Pumpkins are my favorite band of all time. I also love Obscure Descension, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Eagles, The Beatles, Janis Joplin, The Doors, Nirvana, Guns n' Roses, Bob Marley, Garbage, Yellowman, Delirium, mostly 90's Alternative, Classic Rock, Reggae,and some Rap. I absolutely loathe Country Music though.
    Movies: Idiocracy, Office Space, The Matrix Series, The Corporation, Stardust, Borat, A Dirty Shame, Too many to think of I am always watching something new. Comedies, Documentaries, Stand-up especially George Carlin, Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock, Carlos Mencia, Lewis Black, Eddie Griffin, Eddie Murphy, Ron White, and Patton Oswalt.
    TV: The Office, Seinfeld, 30 Rock, My So-Called Life. Not much else.
    Books: "Blinking With Fists" Poetry by Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins. My work is highly influenced by his brilliance. "His Dark Materials" by Philip Pullman absolutely brilliant Fantasy novels, and everything I could hope to write someday. "The Penultimate Truth" by Philip K. **** "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeline L'Engle. "The Catcher in the Rye"
    Likes: Writing, Music,Poetry, Reading, Camping, Hiking, Bicycling, Running, Sculpting, Drawing, Cooking, Animals. All the universe's beauty and wonder.
    Dislikes: Close minded people, ignorance and intolerance.
    Hobbies: Writing, Sketching,Camping, Hiking, Swimming, Bicycling, Reading.
    Vices: Caffeine. I drink about 5 Diet sodas a day just to stay awake. I wish I could stop.
    Virtues: "If it doesn't harm yourself or others then do what thou wilt." Treat others as you want to be treated. I believe in Karma.
    Heroes: Martin Luther King Jr. John Lennon, Gandhi, George Carlin, Hunter S. Thompson, Billy Corgan, and anyone who is not stuck within the oblivion of collective thought. People who think for themselves.

    "Silencing the Orchids" A Poem

    Usually I just post something about the magazine, and I often forget I am a writer/poet too!! :)  Here's one of my most recent.....

    " Silencing the Orchids"

    In the silence of the all consuming midnight hours

     Insecure obsessions abuse my thoughts

     His breath the only other sound

    Softly reminds me of time spent apart

    The passion of love loses itself to art

    The arrogance of creation slowing inching its way in

    Quietly severing vows made in the garden Lavender orchids begin to wilt

    Slowly dying of thirst Their parched mouths scream

    Heard by listening carefully in the darkest hour

    Deafening my ears with their high pitched wail

    I search for a waterfall in the desert

    To pour the life back in

    Saving them from their slow and painful demise

    Still they appear ever so beautiful

    Dancing in summer wind

    Gently caressing their royal color with hope

    My tears flow to the surface Drenching their roots

    Blooming into the unparalleled wisdom of age

    They are eternal Showcasing the immortality of love

    Found within his kisses Back in the garden

    We walk hand and hand To the house of flowers

    Thank you so much! I am my worst critic and am very hard on myself. Especially my second sculpt but thank you. You put a smile on my face :) I can't breath without sculpting. I just started in Aug 2007 and am hooked ever since. Have a great week!
