    About Me: I am an artist, poet and sculptor who loves anything creative. I love anything to do with nature and the outdoors. My family are my life and I adore them. I have taught art and craft for over 10years working with people of all ages. I am currently taking a year off work to concentrate on other things.
    I have with my husband also taught people about the mystical and magical things in life and how to work with them. I believe in sharing thats why I got into teaching. Finally after months of procrastinating I have finally got my

    Music: Rock, classical and some pop.
    Movies: The Fisher King, Dark Crystal, Legend, The Abyss and loads more, too many to mention.
    TV: I don't have much time to watch TV, I love natural history programmes.
    Books: Anything SciFi and Fantasy. Terry Brooks, Philip Pullman, Piers Anthony etc. OH and I forgot to mention Tolkien.
    Likes: I like too many things to list here.
    Dislikes: I do have dislikes but the world is much to negative a place already, so why list them?
    Hobbies: Anything art and craft related, reading cooking, keeping animals.
    Vices: Red wine! Art and craft materials, they are all over the house!
    Virtues: Kind, friendly, helpful and I really try to be non judgmental.
    Heroes: Gerald Durrel, David Attenborough, Susan Sarandon, Tolkien, Steven Fry, Brian Froud. I also admire many polymer clay artists.

    New Year Tidings

    Happy New Year!

     

    There will probably been lots of posts and wishes for prosperous new years over the next few days.

    2008 was a trial in many ways and I am looking forward to 2009 for I am determined to make the most of it.

     

    My work has developed and I have made new friends.  I am hoping to produce a lot more Piskie Poppet pieces and do some shows and festivals with them (just need to find the right ones).

     

     

     

    I have discovered 1:12 sale and have started experimenting, if you dont experiment your work wont grow.

     

    Heres to new year full of hope, joy, inspiration, health and prosperity to all.

    Hello Folks,

    Its been a while, I have been so busy with artwork and orders.

    I too have been selected for Froudian Artist of The Month, I am really chuffed, I think this month that there are about 7 of us, so a big congratulations to every one else and Brightest Blessings!

    I have some new work to share with you but I havent photographed it yet. I am planning to pop in more regulary.

    Meet 'Mub'

    Hello Folks

    I just thought I would introduce you to 'Mub'.

    This little lady is happy munching away on her Faery Fruit!

    I showed her to my 3 year old nephew who we foster and asked him what we should call her and thats how Mub got her name.

    Mub aslo has a new friend called 'Lauralie'.

    I think she needs a brush LOL!

    Hello Friends

    Its been awhile since I had the chance to do a post.  The children go back to school today after six weeks off school and my hands have sort of healed after a reaction I have had to some clay, so its back to work on my art this week (fingers crossed).  This weekend passed we have had our final camping trip of the summer and I am now looking at a whole heap of washing.

    Exciting news for me Custom Dolls, Houses and Minatures have put me in as featured item for September in their newsletter.
