I'm trying to catch up on getting my art out there into the ether, and I knew there was one place I had to stop:
Epilogue.
The fantasy art site. I have several friends who have galleries there. Seems like a cool place.
So, I signed up and picked four pieces to submit. I knew there was a chance they'd say no, but I'm kind of used to being rejected from working as a writer for the last few years.
I was surprised, though, when all four were rejected. Here's what they said:

Cali Girl had anatomy issues

Midnight said, lacks detail and/or unrefined

Jade said, lacks detail and/or unrefined

Innocence said, needs minor touching up
Okay, now, I'm not complaining here, I promise. :D
My question is: what now? Do I just keep subbing to them and hope they will like my work, eventually? The reasons they gave are very vague, and obviously a "choose A, B, or C" scenario. I guess I'm not sure what to do with this. I know I'm not The Bomb or anything. I have no delusions on that score. Just curious what others have experienced and maybe advice on how to make my work better (since it seems to have form and tech issues I was blissfully unaware of). ;)
Please, feel free to check these pieces out more closely to help me refine my work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks friends!
