| Description: | The May Day Fairie Festival at Spoutwood Farm (fairiefestival.net) includes 4 tribes, each in friendly competition with the other: The Meadow Tribe, the Woodland Tribe, the River Tribe, and last but not least, the MIGHTY MOUNTAIN TRIBE! The competition is to have the most and the loudest presence at the festival. Each day it's the job of the tribes to gather as many fae and mortal at the Maypole Court to observe, and participate in, a Royal Ceremony. on Friday, this is the ceremony where the King and Queen of the past year officially relinquish their crown. On Saturday, the new King and Queen (and a lucky Prince and Princess!) are crowned. On Sunday, The King and Queen make their oath for the year to come. In turn, each Tribe leader makes an oath to protect and love that part of the Land that they are responsible. It's so much fun and I would LOVE for you to join my tribe! Our chant is MEKA LEKA HI! MEKA HINEY HO! SPIRITS OF THE MOUNTAIN, LET'S GO! Please join us!!!!! |
