Well,
As you all know this year one of my dreams came true, meeting Brian, Wendy and Toby Froud, all of them involved in one of my favourite movies (Labyrinth (1986)). I premiered in USA both in faerieworlds and faeriecon, and had the chance to meet these lovely people, but also crafters of magic. Now it's hard to believe that the baby from Labyrinth (Toby) has grown to become as talented as his parents...  I performed this in Faeriecon but Brian was ill, though Toby and Wendy were there, and thus wanted to share it, so Brian can see it (hope you get better soon). Messing alone in my house with my keyboard I recorded this very simple romantic a bit rough and unedited but sad approachment to my favourite song in the soundtrack "WITHIN YOU". In this case it's entirely live in my keyboard and home studio (except for the final chimes) and thus it's as simple as it is, but not with less spirit I hope.  It's curious when I first got the internet years back and before becoming an artist, I met so many friends in Labyrinth Marysia's boards I'm still in touch with, and curiously enough we're all still obsessed about Jareth, Sarah and the Labyrinth!!

I do not own this song, or the images of the movie, that i just re-edited, and covered for fun and as a dedicatory and tribute and thus this song is not for sale or included in any of my works, but I've dared to upload it to youtube for my friends, the Frouds, and for my laby friends too (yay, I know one of you already saw it ;-) yes you know who you arre (points at Astrid!!), thanks for encouraging me, I was afraid of covering this song as there's simply no way to beat the Goblin King.

Faeriecon just took place in Philadelphia (USA), and we're back (this time safe, we took a taxi from the airport) I had fun in the balls though it's always risky to perform not with your actual band, it was my pleasure to share the stage with friends from Woodland and Trillian green to support me (the the theatre's ghost, Trocadero was really haunted). Faeriecon was a bittersweet experience as Brian Froud was ill and Alan Lee´s mother died :(, and Omnia had to cancel at last minute so I couldn't meet them either... Still in the middle of the frantic moments, I had so much happiness meeting with Kelly and Emilio, my lovely and sweet friends from woodland, and Robert, Stephanie, River, Storm, Kimmy, Katie, Susan Scroder, Jen Delyth, Jasmine, Wendy and Toby Froud and sooooooooo soooooooo many others that I can't stop this smile of my face of having been able to be with you. I know I missed a few people too...!!

If you attended and have pictures please send me a private message so i can give you an e-mail,  as most of you know I lost my camera last august, and i'm on the way to replace it, so I'll thank all the memories to be sent... We used our friend Emilio's one for some pics in the convention but we lack pics of our set.

ahh thanks god we  got a  laptop and could use some vst on stage!! yayy!! (thanks all of you).

I brought a few limited prints of  Susan's Schroder photography of me (ty!) so i'll make a contest for vip members the following days to give away a copy.

We premiered two new songs there "northern light" and "the long way"  (both songs included in my new album on the making) and also performed a little exerpt from "into the labyrinth"

Among the great things happening too, meeting my friend and also singer-songwriter Hannah Fury!!! She was lovely.

I also got a wonderful gift from Goblinroad (a cloak), my friend linda gave me a red dress (ty!!) and River a special glass cup with the yidneth logo carved in glass, and Hannah a  little tiny ghost in a bottle... among other things...! IT WAS GREAT TO SEE YOU ALL AND I'll miss you!

First, regarding the earlier posts, I want to thank again to all the people that has sent encouragement and even help and donations after the robbery... I'm doing fine :( and I've got to the idea my gear and things are gone, so i'm replacing what I need for the concert and counting the days to go to faeriecon in October :).

The new now is that I was performing a full concert in the bad fairy ball (saturday 11th) before the dutch band Omnia... Now the plan have changed, i'll be performing a smaller set each of the balls, both good and bad, thus i'll be able too to split the mood (just like in the "the ghost and the fairy" split in my album). The bands both days are amazing... regarding my own music, sets will be slightly different, more new age in the good, more gothic in the bad.

So the new schedule is

I'll be stopping also at the convention itself to have a look and meet some online friends and fellow artists like Jasmine, Linda Biggs, Sue Miller, Susan Schroder and so many others... I'ts going to be so much fun! But I'm not sure if i'll make a simpler shorter performance in the con, so far only in the balls!

A five pages in depth interview and article about Priscilla Hernández has been published in the summer 2008 issue of the american magazine FAERIE MAGAZINE , already available in Book Stores all over the country.

On the other hand  I want to thank again Kelly and Emilio from faerieworlds for the rising funds page they have set up in faerieworlds (as you can  ready in our previous post we were robbed all our gear :( I also want to thank Robert Gould, David Riché, Karen, all the faerieworlds crazy tribe, :), Gaia Consort,  all the spontaneous people that have donated and helped
