Hi Everybody,

I'm getting ready for festival season. My website www.puppetinaplace.com has been redesigned - lots of new photos. I updated my facebook page Fantasy Art by Puppetina. I've been accepted as a vendor at The World of Faeries Festival and FaerieCon. This winter I painted sone new watercolors of uncorns and fairies. I designed my own push mold and I made some mini polymer clay unicorn figurines. I can't wait for spring!

Hi Everyone

I had a fabulous time at FaerieCon in Hunt Valley, MD. There were two balls: The Good Fairy Ball and The Bad Fairy Ball. The costumed crowd enjoyed all the bands: lots of cheering and dancing. The upstairs vendors' hall and the downstairs vendors' hall was like Aladdin's Cave of Wonders, overflowing with all types of creative artwork. The best part was seeing friends old and new.

I made some new puppets: steampunks, fairies, and mermaids. I was an exhibitor at UtopiaCon. The Jubilee Ball was lots of fun. People were hula hooping, juggling, waltzing and belly dancing to the music.

I had a great time at The Village Faire in Wrightstown Pennsylvania. Two days of sunshine with a hint of fall. The theme of the weekend was The Three Musketeers: lots of sword fighting, a beautiful queen and a silly king. There was alot to see: a fire eater, jugglers, a team of belgian horses, a joust and a petting zoo. I especially like the recorder group playing medieval music. All the vendors had a great time. I made lots of friends including the Needle Gnomes.

I was at the World of Faeries Festival in South Elgin, IL on August 4th and 5th. It takes place in a park under beautiful old oak trees next to a river. Saturday started out very hot but everyone was having lots of fun: great music, a fairy tea party, a treasure hunt, beautiful artwork and lots of bubbles. Suddenly about 2:30 a big storm came. My sister and I had to put all of my artwork in the van and secure the tent. The worse part of the storm lasted 45 minutes with lots of thunder and lightning. The wind blew down several tents. What a change on Sunday, perfect weather, blue skies with a light breeze. Everyone was smiling and we were all having such a great time that everyone agreed to stay open an hour longer. I can't wait until next year. My next show is The Village Fair in Pennsylvania.

Hello Everyone,

I just got back from The Enchanted Lakes Renaissance Faire, ELF for short. It takes place in an area of Indiana full of beautiful lakes. Friday and Saturday were extremely hot and Sunday started out rainy but then it brightened up. Every day there was a royal procession, jounting, combat fighting, and a viking camp. ELF had several stages. All day long there were performances: music, acrobats, dance, and music. There was a lot to see and do. Everyone had a great time.

The Maryland Fairy Festival was the perfect festival. The new location is beautiful: woods, a lake, fields and flowers. The entertainment was great: bands, puppet shows and strolling performers. Lots of fabulous shopping: arts and crafts. Friends old and new visited my booth. I can't wait until next year.
