About Me:Hello and Blessings! My name is Esther and I am a fantasy artist. I am currently developing a career in this field and particularly enjoy painting faeries using watercolour. However, I do feel that I am merely dipping a toe in the waters of creativity and always strive to improve my artistic skills. I first began drawing at a young age and fairy tales were a source of inspiration during my childhood. Folklore and mythology also became of great interest to me and remain a strong influence in my work along with my love for nature. The faeries I paint are often nature spirits representing a particular flower or season. Art has remained a passion throughout my life and I have great admiration for artists of the past including The Pre-Raphaelites, Alphonse Mucha, and Arthur Rackham, as well as many great fantasy artists of today. I first began to sell my own work about a year ago when I developed my own website and have also found my 'Faeriealistaion' commissions (painting people as faeries) very popular. It is my dream to turn my art into a full-time career.

I have just returned from a Magical weekend in Dartmouth, UK attending the Faerie and Fantasy Arts event organised by Kelly Martinez of Ethera.
The Faerie Ball on the Saturday evening was very magical with performances from Beck Sian and Daughters of Elvin accompanied by some beautiful ballet dancers in front of projected art images.
The following day was a fantastic arts and crafts event featuring some of the most talented artists in the world. It was an honour for me to exhibit my art alongside the wonderful Brian and Wendy Froud, Josephine Wall, Linda Ravenscroft, Marc Potts plus many many more.
It was an amazing experience and an absolute joy to share my art, sign calendars and meet brilliant people. Fabulous!
