    Update for August

Wednesday, August 20, 2008, 11:05 AM EST [General]

Just a quick update for August......

I am busy working on new art, commissions and projects!

Also, I am currently selling some older faerie art prints at reduced prices on www.ebay.co.uk just search for 'Fairy Art Prints Esther Remmington' as there are several different ones. They are all matted prints in standard frame sizes backed with card and wrapped in cellophane.

I am hoping to clear the old prints and have some new things available soon! My website www.estherremmingtonart.com is also being updated and will have prints available to purchase from there soon too.

    Midsummer Magic

Friday, July 4, 2008, 05:23 PM EST [General]

My partner and I recently attended the 3 Wishes Faery Festival in Cornwall on Midsummer Solstice and had an absolutely amazing time! It rained relentlessly for the first 2 days but the sun finally shone on the third day :)

Despite the weather, there was a truly magical atmosphere and we had the pleasure of meeting some lovely new people! There were some fantastic bands playing and we couldn't resist dancing in the rain to Daughters of Gaia and Omnia :)

It was wonderful to relax and play in the faerie realm for 3 days and become my faerie-self with wings and all! Can't wait for next year :)

We took the opportunity of spending the following week staying in Cornwall and visiting wonderful places such as Tintagel Castle, the legendary birthplace of King Arthur, and Carnglaze Caverns. At Carnglaze there is a wonderful garden named the Enchanted Dell where you find limited edition bronze faeries hidden amongst the plants and trees!! It was beautiful! Other holiday highlights included seeing a wild seal at St.Ives harbour and watching the sun set behind the sea at Bedruthen Steps. Breathtaking :)

Happy (slightly belated) Midsummer everyone :)

    Update

Saturday, May 10, 2008, 01:01 PM EST [General]

    Hi to all,

    Summer is here!!!! :)

I have been offline for quite sometime due to some technical problems. I think some mischievious pixies messed up my old computer lol. Now I have a new one I am back online and hope that some good faeries will help things run a bit smoother!

Recently, I have been on a couple of mini holidays visiting friends and family. I spent a few days in Suffolk and Norfolk and visited some very lovely towns and beaches. I also spent a day in the Cotswolds which I must say has some very pretty villages.

I don't have any new art pieces to show as yet. A lot of my time has been taken up with my job and also some other projects, including trying to make a pair of wings to wear at Faery Fest next month! The framework I have made is fabulous but attaching the fabric is proving more complicated than I thought. :S

I have a lot of different work and projects coming up over the next couple of months but I do hope to show some new things on here soon.

    Faery Blessings,

    Esther :)
