Visitors to the park have been leaving me notes since September 2007.

Most of the notes come from people discovering the door for the first time. There are also about 4-6 regular visitors who I correspond with on and off.

To date, there have been almost 100 notes left, and all notes signed with a name are replied to.

I have added several notes to my photo gallery and will be adding a few more each week.

I'm Seamus O'Grey and I live in a Cottonwood Tree near Gray's Lake in Iowa.

My home is out of the way, off the beaten path. The people who wander and pay attention to the world around them will sometimes find my door.

Inside the door are paper and pencil. Children and adults are free to share their thoughts, ask questions or leave messages to others.

I will use this forum to share the notes people leave, share the joy they bring me and dream with kindred spirits.
