Happy New Year everybody! What a year 2008 was. I've been reviewing my achievements of 2008 and am fairly impressed with the list. From major publishing contracts, to finishing 34 paintings, and of course, beating cancer, it was quite a big year! Hopefully 2009 will be a lot bigger, better, and completely cancer free! I've decided to re-open and re-launch early! I was going to wait until the 5th, however I was just too keen to get this done I couldn't wait! So we are now open again for shopping, with some fantastic new products and changes to the site.

Website Relaunch!!
Selinafenech.com has now become a huge, integrated shopping hub for all products and artist ranges we produce here in the studio. That includes the Spellbound Greeting cards, of course, and also the Australian range for Jessica Galbreth Enchanted Art! You can now shop all these great products on the one site. I hope the new set up is easy to navigate and follow, we put a lot of work into it, and would love any feedback you have.

New Products and Redesigned Products!!
Our stunning new Silk Shoulder Bags have been released! I designed these bags entirely myself and they have been manufactured exclusively for me, making a beautiful, unique product. The bags are made from a beautiful raw silk, have a zip up closure top, and a front pouch, which is printed with a long lasting transfer technology. I only have about 25 of these bags in stock, sent express from the manufacturer... the rest are on a slow boat, due in a couple of months. So if you want one of these now you will need to get in quick!
Also released this month are cute pewter Earrings. Using the same lead free pewter charms as the Fantasy Charms, these earrings look gorgeous worn with anything. Some of our other jewelry has also had a make over. Our Cameo style Art Pendants now come on a really decadent looking black glass beaded, multi strand necklace, instead of the organza ribbon chokers.

While the site was being worked on...
The Fan Gallery and Press and Awards pages have been updated. New photos of tattoos, magazine articles and more have been uploaded, featuring me or my art!

Valentines Day soon upon us
From one holiday to the next, it is time to start thinking about our loved ones and lovers for Valentines day. I love V.day, just the air of romance it brings. For those in love it's a time to cherish and celebrate, for those single it's a time to dream and wish for your Prince or Princess! I've chosen to release two sensual new artworks of romantic theme for Valentines Day. Along the Forest Path has an elegant fairy meandering down a dark forest path, following a trail of red rose petals! Blossoming Love is just pure fun. I love this fairy couple, they are the embodiment of true, unbridled joy and new love! If you're looking for a gift, try doing a search for the term "romance" on the website!

New Competition!
After the success of the big Christmas Art giveaway competition, I've decided to hold a big comp every three months! For our new contest I have decided to hold a Customer Action Shots Competition! I love to interact with my customers, and love it even more to receive photos of my products and art in use! I want you to send in your photos of my art or products in use. You can be in the photos if you like too! You can send in as many photos as you like. The best photos will be displayed on the website, and the runner up and the winner will be chosen by me based on quality and originality of the photo! The Winner will receive an original painting and the runner up will get a voucher for the site! More here- Competitions

With the new integrated shopping site, the range of Jessica Galbreth products we are producing for her in our studio here will be expanded very soon. Pendants, bags and more will be added to the range, along with Jessica's incredible new oil and pencil artwork range of Celtic Myth!

David- My Prince Charming
I wanted to take a moment to talk about the man in my life, now I'm feeling all mushy with Valentines day coming up!
David has been in my life for a few years now, and it was love at first sight! He is now my best friend, fiance, and also my business manager! His background in financial services has brought a whole new level of expertise and professionalism to my business, and I value his advice greatly. He also built my business database from scratch, the clever guy! David has also been incredibly strong and supportive during my cancer treatment, even finding me beautiful when I felt like a big, hairless blob! When he's not busy being my everything, he works in film and television, and one day will make his own amazing stories and visions come to life in movies.
