The Fall Fairy

Crunching beneath a high heeled shoethe falling leaves blanket her way.Ushering in the instincts of those who will goand prepairing the remainder that stay.In a glorious display the colors are changedjust before all must shed of there leaves. Both great and small take notice to the signsbirds migrate departing the bare trees.Cool grows the air as it strokes her red maneand blows her dress of seasons shade. The fairy of fall observes the harvest come infeeling at peace as the warm gently fades.Silken wings made like the scattered leavescamouflage this maiden of thanksgiving. And from the fruits of labor she ushers inthe gifts of fullness and joy found in one's living.
