[General]
How sad it was to hear the news of one I never knew. The yesterdays they talked about of things he used to do.In rhythmic beat he stole a moment as no one else had done.To his chorus I sang along like I too was the one.He walked in song and with living step I watched a spirit dance. Those movements held me as I gazed in a fascinated trance.Like the stars that fill the sky others also shine. So few so brilliant cast there glow and for so long a time.Innocent and young he sought for he was boy as much as man.Desperate for make believe only they could understand. And like so many I felt betrayed the stories that were told.In my heart I know it to be souls seeking to be sold.A tearful thought lingers on that no one can take his place. To the ages he dwells forever where legends have their space.

Once again, your words have stunned me....so deep, knowing and so full of feeling. This is a really powerful piece. |

I read this aloud to the family dear Sleepy friend, as we've all been affected by this sad news. I commented to sweet Ema here, how much this chap has been the soundtrack to our lives and an inspiration through the years. We were watching his brilliant videos again and when they played Will You Be There? the tears began to fall... Your piece is wonderful and made all the more special in verse, thank you for your beautiful moving and tender tribute. And thank you Mr Jackson, Be |

You nailed it with the innocence, desperation, and betrayal. I think you understood him... I think his isolation must've left him feeling pretty lonely too (for thoughtful people).
