    The December Fairy

    Sunday, November 30, 2008, 11:59 PM [General]

It's the month of year's end and one of shorten days.
Filled with joyous celebration in many religious ways.
The fairy of this time sees the best in all men.
Something the other fairies sees though not so often.
The wish for good will and hopes for all peace.
Seeking out fellowship and all hatreds to cease.
Adorned in festive dress, but more she wraps her self in.
A cloak of giving she wears tailored by this season.
Soft shades of red and green decorate her pastel wings.
Reflecting the festive spirit this month's holiday brings.
She's been seen by so many at this time of love and care.
Ware ever souls touch one another it's then that she'll be there.

    A Rap Subliterary

    Friday, November 21, 2008, 09:51 AM [General]

    There once was a fairy
    Named Sunshine Rosemary.
    Who seeked sanctuary
    In an old monastery
    Next to a mortuary
    Across from a cemetery
    That was full of statuary.
It was only to be temporary
    Just untill January
    But no later than February.
    All because of a mercenary
    Named Captain Dewberry
    Who made her his adversary
When he was released from the military
Because of reports full of commentary
    With words quite unnecessary
    About this creature so visionary
    Making his career an obituary.
    She begged the missionary
    Who's name was Friar Garry
    A churches emissary
    Who was no ordinary
    Priest or contemporary
    But an important dignitary.
    Moving to the library
    He called for the secretary
    and asked for a dictionary
    It was only precautionary
    Because of her vocabulary
Was a little strange and contrary.
He took notes on some stationary
    Knowing he was the beneficiary
    Of something extradornary
    This creature so imaginary.
    Then the luminary
Took her to a far away dairy
    That was clean and sanitary.
    Telling her, "This is voluntary."
"Here you'll be happy and merry."
    It's fields hid wild strawberries
Near were bushes full of blackberries
    All marvelously dietary.
    She hugged him only momentary
Then flew off like a canary.
    And happy was she very
For never again was life scary.

    Prophet

    Thursday, November 13, 2008, 12:01 PM [General]

One day we noticed him standing silent and still.
So gentle was his movements but with purpose and great will.
Cloaked in a long robe concealing all but his eyes.
Our thoughts he could hear dispite our minds cleverest disguise.
His presence drew the truth no matter how secretly kept.
The wise chose to follow him the strong stayed clear of his step.
To find the purity of knowledge was his obsession and task.
The answers he sought were to questions never dared asked.
With words full of mystery he spoke in riddles and clues.
Lost in it's maddness and meaning for only he alone knew.
What we dwelled on was wrong we saw only the man.
We looked for reasons and schemes or some actuarial plan.
Did he come from the waters of the eastern deep seas?
Or the western wilderness living among the animals and trees?
Perhaps the south's barren wasteland he may have come forth.
He might have traveled down from the mountains far to the north.
He never hungered nor thirst never slept or took rest.
To know all bound his will and his soul was so also posessed.
New were his methods and strange were his ways.
Then suddenly he was gone with so much more left to say.
Did he find what he was in search of? Was it ever at all here?
Only the brave walks with truth all others grope in ignorance and fear.

    The November Fairy

    Saturday, November 1, 2008, 12:30 AM [General]

A changing season cloaked holiday and for most they will spend.
The occasion to share with family and visits of lost friends.
During the festivals of harvest is the opportunity to feast.
On vegetables from the fields and hunted woodland beasts.
From hearth to spread table away from the permanent chilled air.
Setting aside coat and high boots caked with mud every ware.
Dried leaves abandon their birthplace cosigning skeletal trees.
Natures souls have retired vacant the forest now seems.
A vigil she keeps in brown and orange garb and wings.
Attire mated to her auburn hair adorns the queen of thanksgiving.
Hibernating in dens and nests or asleep in a home.
The November fairy takes heed so none feel left all alone.
