Today is a Japanese Holiday, called Tanabata (Star Festival).
It's a lovely one to celebrate. You create several strips of paper,
with wishes, prayers, goals, etc.. on them, hang them on a piece of
bamboo (of course, a stick would work here!), and hang it in your own
personal 'Sacred Tree'. These can be as elaborate or as simple as you
like. The goal is just to make your wish!
Here's mine:
Wanna join me?

What a magical thing to do, thank you so much for sharing such an enchanted festival with us Nieriel ~ I really love learning about other cultures & the way folk celebrate, much appreciated ~ This is truly Wishing on a Star! Yours look beautiful my friend, & I hope they all come true for you... =)
