    Happy Tanabata!

    Today is a Japanese Holiday, called Tanabata (Star Festival).
    It's a lovely one to celebrate.  You create several strips of paper, with wishes, prayers, goals, etc.. on them, hang them on a piece of bamboo (of course, a stick would work here!), and hang it in your own personal  'Sacred Tree'.  These can be as elaborate or as simple as you like.  The goal is just to make your wish!

    What a magical thing to do, thank you so much for sharing such an enchanted festival with us Nieriel ~ I really love learning about other cultures & the way folk celebrate, much appreciated ~ This is truly Wishing on a Star!
