What a long strange trip it's been...as we all know, life has a way of dealing unexpected blows at the most inopportune times. Our trip to the East coast was beyond belief! It was like every moment was planned perfectly just for us...everywhere we went was gorgeous, everything we saw just took our breath away, and everyone we met went above and beyond to be helpful, friendly, and kind. The day we returned, however, we found out that my mama's cancer is back for the third time. I am writing tonight from Flagstaff, Arizona, most of the way home to California from Oklahoma with a moving truck. The last two times she was sick, I moved to Oklahoma to be with her and take care of her. This time, I am moving her (and her very cool dog, Cij) out to live with me in California. She will be going to one of the best cancer centers on the west coast, and will beat this again. For the last time! At any rate, just wanted to let all of those folks that I told a month ago that I was going to be back on here, what the hold-up is. Hopefully when I get our schedule sorted out, I can get into the studio, and back on here! Here's to love, hope, and healing...huzzah!!!

Here in North-eastern Pennsylvania, the leaves are much brighter this year than last, but the peak color was the same weekend as FaerieCon. There's still plenty to see, but just not quite as colorful as then... RdeHwyll |

Yay! Trips are so fun! Been a bit cold here, but the leaves and pumpkins are still lingering! I love autumn in southwest, when the aspens all turn golden. I hope you have a magickal and joyous trip! Enchanted |

What a wonderful poem in your side bar. "I am" did you write that? It is gorgeous. Love your jewelry. Blessings. amy |
Not been here lately...and gone again!
OK...just a quick apology to all I have been ignoring (allbeit, unintentionally!) I have been so swamped with real life lately (baseball, volleyball, practices, games, 2 faires, working, cleaning so I am not mortally embarrassed when my house-sitters show up next week, getting ready for my cool vacation to the east coast, decorating for the kids big All Hallows party which is about 15 hours after I get home...) whew!!! I will hopefully get some time to get back on here after I get home on the 29th, and I might even get some net time while I'm gone, but I'm not counting on it! At any rate, I miss coming to the realm, and hope to rectify that soon.

Hi Darling, |
Moon necklace
Oh! I completely forgot to show the cool part! Say the wearer wants to slip into, oh I don't know, the Republican convention maybe, or some other mundane human event, and not show the magickal bits of poetry hanging around her neck...you know...incognito? She can just flip it over. The back is just irridescent blue glass!
Plain ol' blue glass necklace...yep, pretty normal here...no faeries hangin' out with the humans...(whistle innocently here)
WIP Glass (finished)
Well...I had a mutiny on the studio table the other day, and the bracelet bits took a vote. They decided to be a necklace, and no matter how I poked and prodded, they would not conform. So here they are in their debut...as a necklace! I often find the inanimate objects winning...sigh...
