We will be performing at Wicked Faire on Feb 20 in NJ and filming a live concert DVD on March 25th in an 1800s brewery in southeastern PA. On March 26th we will be having a Gypsy Feast in the Catacombs; 45 feet below street level! A 4-course meal with the Gypsy Nomads aka French and the Punk (!), with performance following the meal.

    Hi guys,
Thanks for the comment you left...it was a really nice article that they did on me :)
I am sorry I didn't get a chance to come by and say Hi at FaerieCon. I was so sick for that whole weekend and I lost my voice almost entirely on Saturday. I did go to part of both Faerie Balls and I got to hear you perform which is always a joy!

    September already....!

Sunday, September 13, 2009, 07:26 PM EST [General]

Well, it's that awesome time of year...but it just got here so fast! We've been on the road a lot since March and playing some amazing shows. August was quieter for us with a few shows on the east coast and some home base time for creating, working on new songs and the start of the new CD recording.

We just got back from Dragon Con last week and that was amazing. It was our first time there and definitely not our last. Saw lots of familiar people from other events...hard not to when there are over 35,000 people!!!! AND most of them in costume...beautiful!

So here we are in September. We're back in the recording studio tomorrow for the whole week and also finishing up preparations for the October tour that will be taking us out to the midwest.  Then in November we'll be heading to Maryland for FaerieCon...yay!

    The Gypsy Nomads on Tour!

Tuesday, May 12, 2009, 11:56 PM EST [General]

It's been a great year so far and we have a lot of tour dates lined up for the year. We'll be leaving in two days for the May/June/July tour. We'll be doing a cafe show today (May 13) in Saugerties, NY at The Muddy Cup an then it's off to Maryland for the Faerie Festival over the weekend. We had a blast at Spoutwood at the beginning of the month and we hope to see alot of familiar faces at MDFF.

Also, I am very excited that we have a spot in the new EF Faezine, you can read my story under the heading "The Nomadic Notebook"

Our full tour schedule is posted on our website.

Hope to see you you at a show!

I very much enjoyed reading your column in the Summer issue of Faezine. What a life you guys have!!! I really liked your comment, "There's a point in all of this where you just have to let go of the astonishment, and just succumb to the beauty around you..." I travel alot and I often have this feeling, too. I think you phrased that beautifully and I will keep it in mind when I am out and about in our amazing world.
    Cheers,
    Susan
