Hello All, I am in the midst of editing a new music video of our song Dark Carnivale and realized we never posted our other two videos on Enchanted Folk!
So I'm putting the links here. Enjoy!
The first is for our song "House of Cards" a steampunk faerie tale of intrigue!
We are one day away from boarding the plane! We are so excited to play in Europe and we hope to meet some of you enchanted folk at one of the shows. We're listing our schedule below:
I was stunned to see that it had been a whole year since my last entry... wow, time really does fly when you're having fun!!!
Well, 2010 was an amazing year, tons of touring and awesome shows. We played some of our favorite Faerie Festivals like Spoutwood and FaerieCon and World of Faeries and got to perform at some for the first time like Faerieworlds! The past few years have also had us performing at more and more Steampunk events which has been fantabulous too!
We released a new CD in 2010, Happy Madness, and filmed a live DVD which just came out last month called Live at Bube's Brewery.
Our big news right now is that we will be touring Europe in April 2011... yup, two weeks from now we fly across the pond to my old childhood stomping grounds for some shows in France, Germany and the U.K
Can't wait to meet some of the Enchanted Folk out there : )
You can see all of our dates on the newly updated website:
www.frenchyandthepunk.com which reminds me... we also changed our name from The Gypsy Nomads to our nickname Frenchy and the Punk!
So much happening in 2010. We have been working on our new CD and it's almost finished! We will be performing at Wicked Faire on Feb 20 in NJ and filming a live concert DVD on March 25th in an 1800s brewery in southeastern PA. On March 26th we will be having a Gypsy Feast in the Catacombs; 45 feet below street level! A 4-course meal with the Gypsy Nomads aka French and the Punk (!), with performance following the meal.

We had an amazing time at FaerieCon. The costumes were incredible. Great to connect with people we haven't seen in a while. Loved the new location and we especially loved all of you that got the floor shaking during our performance!!!!! Thank you to everyone...it was fab.
Hi guys,
Thanks for the comment you left...it was a really nice article that they did on me :)
I am sorry I didn't get a chance to come by and say Hi at FaerieCon. I was so sick for that whole weekend and I lost my voice almost entirely on Saturday. I did go to part of both Faerie Balls and I got to hear you perform which is always a joy!
I very much enjoyed reading your column in the Summer issue of Faezine. What a life you guys have!!! I really liked your comment, "There's a point in all of this where you just have to let go of the astonishment, and just succumb to the beauty around you..." I travel alot and I often have this feeling, too. I think you phrased that beautifully and I will keep it in mind when I am out and about in our amazing world.
Cheers,
Susan
