It's good to see that at long last Munro/Fantasy Gifts Ltd the owners of the Dragonsite fantasy figures have started to split up the Fairy figurines from the Dragon figurines! The Dragons will remain as Dragonsite and the Fairies are at long last going to go under the Fairysite banner :) it's a tacky name i admit, but they always get people asking why the fairies are being released by Dragonsite, why not Fairysite? well now they can't say that :)
The first releases are four pieces based on Jessica Galbreths art, Silver Moon, Mask of Autumn, White Magick and Spread your Wings
I must admit that it's been a nightmare working out the best way to add them to my site! either as a complete seperate section or as part of the Dragonsite section! it's a tough call when at the end of the day it's the same company just a different product banner! I think i've come to a reasonable compromise though, and when more pieces get released under the fairysite banner and the name gets better known in the market place i'll be able to seperate them a little more :)
I can't believe it was May when i last posted! So sorry for being quiet :( i've just had a lot going off in my head and everytime i think i'm getting sorted out, something else goes wrong to make me question everything i trusted :(
I've just not really wanted to talk about it anywhere and i've just been pretending everything is ok...
One thing that's been good is that the hunt for the creator of the pixie picture i've been trying to find for ages is now over :) it's by digital artist Sebastian Schoellhammer, no wonder i couldn't find it, i thought it was a sculpture on a digital background!!!
Since December i've had so much trouble with my forum, it's been running so slow and having lots of down time :( i had it served by Invisionplus who were fantastic to start with but over time they promised the world but gave nothing!
So! i took the plunge and got a phpbb3 forum that i could host entirely on my own. I've spent over a week preparing it and it's meant that i've finaly got a forum that actually matches my website at long last :D it's gone down really well with the dragon & fairy collectors too!
It'a funny how something so simple as setting up a new forum can lift your mood :)
So if any of you collect fantasy figures and fancy chatting about them, you'd be more than welcome to join in the chat :D http://thesorcererslibrary.com/tslforum there's not much content at the moment because i've left 2 years worth of threads and over 50 thousand posts behind but i'm hoping that this will be a fresh start for the forum and site :)
It's been a little while since i posted anything in here but i keep checking in :) it still feels strange when i log in and see my name in the "Featured Enchanted Folk" list :) i must post more in here!
I was going to post a picture I drew for another site for a fun Easter Dragon page but it's just not good enough when compared to the high quality stuff on here done by professionals, and since i'm not on here as an artist i thought i'd not embarrass myself :D
