About Me: I am a mother, grandma and dreamer, I have been happily married to the same man for over thirty years and hope to last through the eternities. I have 4 fantastic kids and 3 grandkids. My family is my world. On any given day you will find me making the most out of my life. I wander in museums, love the dress rehearsals for the opera, can be found at any ren faire in full costume. I love to sew, craft and create. I also love to learn new skills - sometimes I feel fractured because I cannot focus on one thing. I live in a big old house that could double for the Leave It To Beaver house, mine has a touch of magic to it - we created a Harry Potter room under the stairs, it is exclusively for our grandkids, complete with a game system and TV and a couple of easy chairs and lamps.
Music: I love music!! There is nothing I don't like - now truth be told I am a bit picky about what I listen to and I don't like all of everything. But when I am in the mountains I love Opera, when I am out with horses I lean toward country, when it is quiet and I am thoughtful I love American Indian flute - it just depends what I am up to :}
Movies: I LOVE MOVIES!! I think it is because it is one of the few times I sit still, if I am at home I am sewing, reading or crafting while I watch. I love chick flicks, historical, adventure - anything BUT slapstick comedy or slasher scary. Some of my favorites are Braveheart, Last of the Mohicans, Everafter, Practical Magic, The Sandlot ...... and the list goes on and on
TV: I like TV but really don't focus on set things - I flip through the channels till I find something that looks good. I do like Reaper, ER, Greys Anatomy, I like 24 till I don't like 24, Clean House, Intervention ...... see what I mean, anything that is mind numbing.
Books: I love to read anything and everything!!
Likes: I like being happy, Renaissance Faires, the mountains, the beach, family, forever, drawing, dreaming, sewing, creating, costumes, the Boo B Que, laughing, running, working, learning - pretty much anything that makes me a better person
Dislikes: I dislike unkind people and I am bad at giving second chances when they cross my path. I think my dislikes balance my likes, I dislike lazy, I dislike it when anyone would rather put their handout then work hard - I dislike people who have no honor and I am dislike fake.
Hobbies: Hummm - think I mentioned this before - I am fractured, I have to many hobbies and that makes me a jack of all and a master of none.
Vices: I shop too much, I charge too much and I own to much fabric and crafts if that is even possible!!
