Here's my 1st blog to complete the profile wizard (it just wont do to have incomplete wizards roaming about:-)...so, a wee introduction:

I have spent the last few years creating unusual jewelry for discerning faeries and elven folk and have recently discovered that mortals like it too:-) I just started Thyme2dream as a full time business, and hope to gear up to attend Renfaires and Faerie Festivals within the next year or so...for now I am getting established online and having a wonderful time connecting with other creative fae in the process!

Im a daughter of the south wind (fancy name for 'Native Kansan';-)...but these days I am blessed to be able split time between here and Edinburgh, Scotland where my husband was born and raised. Celtic stuff seems to be in my blood, and most of my pieces have a bit of Celt in them somewhere.

I love rocks~ From the naturally heart shaped piece of Kansas River rock my boys found for me one day on a home school outing, to the lovely cool feeling of blue chalcedony or the magical shimmer of rainbow moonstone~ all stones become my friends when I work with them.  Wrapping and spiraling with wire and gemstones seems to be a natural combination for me...Most of my pieces are not planned, they just sort of happen as I play with the elements of the design.  I am also fascinated by the ‘personalities' that different cultures and traditions have given gemstones through the ages, and often combine them with specific meanings in mind as a blessing to the person who will eventually wear them. Above all, I try to put a lot of love and joy into everything I create!

Feel free to contact me anytime..I love feedback on my work and enjoy working on custom pieces if you have a costume that needs that wee bit of something added to the ensemble!
