About Me: As a classically trained singer and a lover of all musical genres, Tiffany sets out to draw from each influence to create a sound all her own. With a team of talented and accomplished musicians and producers, Tiffany has released her debut album,"Poet," as of February 26, 2008 writing her own lyrics and melody throughout the majority of the album and pairing it with the enchanting music compositions of Jason English. She draws inspiration from genres such as classical, opera, neo classical, gothic, ambient, musical theatre, folk metal, ethereal pop, new age, electronica, trip hop, shoegaze, folk, celtic/world, heavenly voices, darkwave, and even a little 'mainstream' pop/rock. The six featured songs off of “Poet” (Ghost, Run Away and Hide, Ashes to Dust, Scarborough Fair, Warrior, and Whispers) have been getting positive reviews from the industry and fans alike. Her songs can currently be heard on over 30 radio stations worldwide. Tiffany is also active in the theatre and film worlds where she has acted and is contributing music to indie films. Tiffany is also currently on her 2008 'A Poet's Labyrinth Tour' to support the album which includes a stage show (some more elaborate some small and intimate depending on the venue), some meet n greets, and CD signings. Check the dates on her website and myspace to see if she will be coming to a city near you. "Poet" can currently be purchased at select Borders locations (more Borders locations tba), all Record Exchange locations, Dave's Music Mine, Incredibly Strange Video, MySpace (click the 'Buy Now' button), SNOCAP, and more. "Poet"is coming soon to CDBaby, Amazon, Projekt, iTunes, CDFreedom, Rhapsody, emusic, and other major digital downloading stores. To all you Pittsburghers, most of my shows this month are within the Pittsburgh area, so no excuses!  :)

There are two more radio stations on board with spinning music off of my album!   The first is Wykkyd Bru Radio in Washington and the other is WBRC 91.5  in Auburn, Maine!  Thank you to Razor Ray at WBRC and the lovely people at Wykkyd Bru Radio.

I also have Ray Dorsey from RaysRealm to thank.  He not only gave a wonderful review of my album, but he also recently did an interview with me that is now up for public consumption.  Check out the interview at

    http://www.raysrealm.blogspot.com

You can also still check out his review on my album at the website in their May archives if you haven't yet.

For those of you who shop on CDBaby for your music, my album will be available there within the next week or two (according to the email I received from them).  We will let you all know when it is available from CDBaby.

I am also writing for my second album.  We have three rough (VERY rough) demos completed and I have written completed lyrics to three more songs.  Stay tuned for more news:)

Have a safe and happy 4th!

That's a wrap! More press and radio!

Wednesday, May 14, 2008, 04:35 PM EST [General]

    Hi everyone,

Well, we have officially wrapped filming for our first music video "Run Away and Hide."  We shot literally all day this passed weekend and from what I saw, I am really excited about seeing the finished product which is in the editing process.  Alisa did a great job filming, Jen took some awesome photo stills and Jenna did awesome with makeup:)  Thanks to everyone who made the shooting of my first video a positive experience:)

On top of that, I have some other news.  Our friends at Deadpit Radio played excerpts from my album "Poet" on their show this passed Friday during part 1 of their interview with Bill Mosley.  The show can still be heard in their archives.  Visit http://www.deadpit.com and visit their archives.  You can have a listen to the interview with Bill Mosley as well as a listen to them playing my album:)  They also usually have the most recent show playing on their myspace page as well (they are in my top friends).  Deadpit Radio has always been wonderful supporters of my endeavors and have played my music on their radio show before.  Thanks to Creepy Kentuckian and Uncle Bill of Deadpit Radio.

New press news!  The folks at Oucast Fanzine have released their 7th issue that featured a review of my single/maxi CD, "Ghost."  From what Curehead of Outcast Fanzine told me, it is a really nice review of my music and I will be posting some of it when I recieve the magazine and the english translation of the review (Outcast Fanzine is based in Greece).  Their next issue is slated for September of 2008 and they have offered to do a review on the entire album "Poet" as well as an interview, so watch for those coming up in their September issue (Issue 8).  Also, remember to check out the latest issue of the German music magazine, Crawling Tunes Magazine.  It is my second appearance with the magazine as my song "Run Away and Hide" is featured on the compilation disc that accompanies the magazine.  Crawling Tunes and Outcast Fanzine are both in my top friends.  Check them out, pick up the magazines, and add them:)  They rock!

There is also a new radio station in the mix.  The lovely people at the Boston-based Lights Out Radio Show will be featuring my song "Ghost" on their radio show about the Paranormal and Unexplained.  For those of you who are fans of the show 'Coast to Coast with George Norry and Art Bell' it is within that vein.  They are new friends on my myspace and their link is http://www.myspace.com/lightsoutradioshow  You can also check them out on http://www.beastradio.com and on skype.  I will fill you in on exactly when they will begin playing the song as I will also be making a brief stop and chat toward the end of the show on the first night it is played.

Well, that's all for now folks.  Have a wonderful rest of the day.

    New shows, college radio, collaborations

Monday, May 5, 2008, 08:00 PM EST [General]

    Hi everyone,

As some of you know, we will be playing at the Garfield Artworks in Pittsburgh, PA on July 29, 2008.  There has been a change to the linuep.  Originally it was supposed to have been us, Ayris, Surviving the Odyssey, and Vertigo.  Unfortunatly, Suriving the Odyssey had to step down from the lineup but has been replaced by Swedish singer/songwriter Sofia Talbik.  So now the lineup is as follows:

Tiffany Apan, Ayris, Vertigo (Tennessee), Sofia Talbik (Sweden)

But we will be rocking out with Surviving the Odyssey on July 12th at the Sphinx Cafe and Hookah Bar in Pittsburgh (Oakland),PA.  This venue is located on 401 Atwood St. in Oakland.  More info will added soon as soon as I get word from the folks of STO:)

I also recieved word that another college radio station will be featuring my music.  Western Kentucky University's radio station 91.7 Revolution FM will be featuring my music on their show 'The Catacombs' beginning on May 13!  While my music is being played on many internet radio stations worldwide, this is the second college radio station playing my music (the other one being Valparaiso U's WVUR station's 'Neo-classical Shred' show in Valparaiso, Indiana) and we hope it continues to accumulate:) 'The Catacombs' also plays music by The Sisters of Mercy, Razed in Black, Clan of Xymox, and other great artists and bands.  Check them out on their myspaces:

    http://www.myspace.com/revolution917

    http://www.myspace.com/catacombsonrevolution

A big thanks to all the people at WKU and VU and their radio stations for helping my music to reach more audiences and music fans.

Jason and I will also be going into the studio in late June with Chuck Owston and Bonfire Night to record "Three Pale Queens."  I will also be working on my end of my collaboration with Trance producer, Der Mystik.  There are also a version of "Greensleeves" in the works.

Last but not least, don't forget my May Giveaway!  Order an album through my paypal account or my Amazon store (POETSLABYRINTH) and receive a free autographed picture and bumper sticker!

    Have a nice evening,

    Tiffany
