About Me: As a classically trained singer and a lover of all musical genres, Tiffany sets out to draw from each influence to create a sound all her own. With a team of talented and accomplished musicians and producers, Tiffany has released her debut album,"Poet," as of February 26, 2008 writing her own lyrics and melody throughout the majority of the album and pairing it with the enchanting music compositions of Jason English. She draws inspiration from genres such as classical, opera, neo classical, gothic, ambient, musical theatre, folk metal, ethereal pop, new age, electronica, trip hop, shoegaze, folk, celtic/world, heavenly voices, darkwave, and even a little 'mainstream' pop/rock. The six featured songs off of “Poet” (Ghost, Run Away and Hide, Ashes to Dust, Scarborough Fair, Warrior, and Whispers) have been getting positive reviews from the industry and fans alike. Her songs can currently be heard on over 30 radio stations worldwide. Tiffany is also active in the theatre and film worlds where she has acted and is contributing music to indie films. Tiffany is also currently on her 2008 'A Poet's Labyrinth Tour' to support the album which includes a stage show (some more elaborate some small and intimate depending on the venue), some meet n greets, and CD signings. Check the dates on her website and myspace to see if she will be coming to a city near you. "Poet" can currently be purchased at select Borders locations (more Borders locations tba), all Record Exchange locations, Dave's Music Mine, Incredibly Strange Video, MySpace (click the 'Buy Now' button), SNOCAP, and more. "Poet"is coming soon to CDBaby, Amazon, Projekt, iTunes, CDFreedom, Rhapsody, emusic, and other major digital downloading stores.

On screen interview, shows, more airplay, 2nd album, internet sites, NYC videos

Thursday, June 4, 2009, 10:24 PM EST [General]

    Hi everyone,

We had a great show at the Annex in New York City and definitly plan to return to the area for the tour of my second album:)

I'll also be doing my second on screen interview within the coming week (the first being with the Jay Rossi Project).  A new internet/tv music station called Youngstown Music Scene Television has launched and we will be one of their first interviews.  They will also play music videos too.  Check out YMSTV at www.ymstv.com and/or www.myspace.com/ymstv

We're really excited about playing the Dark Xmas film convention this year.  This will be our second year playing this event.  This year, we are very honored to be sharing the stage with G Tom Mac (responsible for the theme song to "The Lost Boys" and soundtracks for "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" among others) and First Jason (the band of Ari Lehman, the first Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th series).  In addition to that, we will also be premiering two songs from my upcoming second album:)  The two songs being previewed are Heart Song and The Scottish King's Wife.  There are some more surprises for this show so stay tuned:)  The event will take place at the Eastwood Expo Center in Niles, OH on September 18-20.  More info on show times and such will be revealed soon.

There is also more airplay for the music.  Tracks from 'Poet' is now also being spun by Radio Ugly and Classic FM (Z889 WBZC).  Radio Ugly is a predominantly Indie/Alternative Rock/Metal station.  Right now, the only track being spun is 'Ghost' as we were having some computer issues with sending them some of the other songs; there will be more momentarily:)  Classic FM-Z889 WBZC is a wonderful radio station on a mission since 1979 to sticking to the original idea of FM radio as being a more "free form" atmosphere as opposed to the now common commercial radio practice of only playing 'the hit single.'  Classic FM plays a great variety of older bands and artists such as Jefferson Airplane, Yes, Genesis, The Doobie Brothers, Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, to only name a few.  They also play music from newer up and coming artists and bands such as Dream Aria, Trisha O'Keefe, and more.  We're very proud to be added to the roster of such wonderful and esteemed musical groups.  A big thank you goes out to the folks at Radio Ugly and Gene Godferey of Classic FM.  You can check out these stations at the following links:

Radio Ugly (also, don't forget to request 'Ghost' and soon the other songs from Poet to be spun on this station):

There are also a couple new internet sites.  Terry Williams, of the music site ProAudioMusic, is now featuring me on the said website.  Visit the page at
www.proaudiomusic.org/tiffany.htm... also check the rest of the site out and the other great artists featured.  And if you're a fan of classical music like I am, check out the ProAudioMusic sister site, Classical Matters, at www.classicalmatters.com A big thank you to Terry Williams:)

You can also find me at the classical music based website Instant Encore at www.instantencore.com/Core/Contributor.a... />
I also have another site on orgsites:  www.orgsites.com/pa/tiffanyapan />
I can now say we have a full track lineup for the second album:)  You can get more in depth coverage of the second album's progress by signing up for the mailing list on the front of my myspace page, or at my website:
    www.tiffanyapan.com

There are new videos on my youtube channel of the New York show and a shout out video to MetalHead Radio TV (you can also see the shout out video at their website and they are also spinning the tracks from 'Poet').  Check them out at
    www.youtube.com/TiffanyApan

Also, keep the songs climbing the charts on SongVault.fm by voting for them here:

Well, I think that's it for now:)

    Have a great weekend,

Celestial Voices, Wikipedia, tour photos, new comp CD

Sunday, April 12, 2009, 12:28 AM EST [General]

    Hi all,
More news: A blog entitled 'Celestial Voices' did a feature on my album 'Poet.'  Celestial Voices is run by Marnold from the Phillippines.  Celestial Voices features the softer side of music like classical, easy-listening, soft pop, and showtunes.  Artists such as Opera Babes, Sarah Brightman, and Michael Ball are featured on here.  It's interesting to be featured in a goth or metal site of magazine one week and an easy-listening one the next!  I'm not complaining though:)  A big thanks to Marnold.
Check out Celestial Voices at www.celestial-voices.blog...
I also have a page on Wikipedia now:)  It looks like it's still a work in progress, but it's there:)
Also if you haven't checked it out yet, I have new tour photos from Cherry Hill NJ, Greensburg PA, Buffalo NY, and Pittsburgh PA  posted in my RoadJournal on my website:
    Visit www.tiffanyapan.com
    or
    www.tiffanyapanroadadvent...
I also found out about being featured on another comp CD.  Ray Dorsey of RaysRealm does his top 10 every year.  As some of you know, my album 'Poet' was featured in his top 10 of 2008.  Ray also makes a comp CD for his top 10 featuring one song from each album in his top 10.  "Warrior (Soldier for Myself)" was featured on this CD.  It went out to all his readers who sent in a top 10 list of their own.  Please support RaysRealm by visiting www.raysrealm.blogspot.co...
    Well, that's all for now.
    Have a great holiday weekend:)

Hello from New Jersey: new interview, new website, songvault, street team

Sunday, March 15, 2009, 01:39 AM EST [General]

    Hello all,
I'm coming to you from our hotel room in Cherry Hill, NJ.  We had a blast today at Monster Mania, promoting the music and movies, mingling, and just having a ball.  Also, a big thanks to the folks at Recluse Pictures for making filming 'Dead of Winter' with them a great experience.  The trailer looks great and Jason and I had fun filming our scene.  Adding to that, a song off of 'Poet' is to be used in the film.  We will be at Monster Mania for a few hours tomorrow and of course, we will have video footage for you of the event.  For more info on Recluse Pictures and the film 'Dead of Winter,' visit www.reclusepictures.com

In other news, there is a new interview with me up on the Rockstars Glued website.  "Scarborough Fair" is also the featured song on the website.  Visit www.myspace.com/rockstars... and check out their latest blogs.  Thanks to the folks at Rockstars Glued!

At long last, the new Official website is up!  Well, the beginnings of it.  It's still in the process of being built, but it does still look great.  Thanks to Mark Kapsha for his fabulous graphics and Rowen Poole for the webspace and domain.  Just bear with us as we continue to build it.  Check out the website at
    www.tiffanyapan.com

Some more news from the SongVault.fm front.  As some of you know, "Ghost" and "Ashes to Dust" made the jump from the Adult Contemporary/Pop and Alternative/Goth Auditions phase to the Showcase phase due to their high placements in the charts in their categories.  "Scarborough Fair" sat at number 23 in the International/Celtic Auditions phase for what seemed like the longest time...until recently.  In a single day, "Scarborough Fair" made the jump from 23 to #2!!!!!  This makes it eligible to get into the Showcase with "Ghost" and "Ashes to Dust."  Placement on the SongVault charts is due to fan votes, so this is a wonderful thing.  Check SongVault out at www.songvault.fm

Finally, our show at Hot Topic has been changed from the 20 to the 27 of March and the show will be earlier in the evening.  Visit my concerts section on www.myspace.com/tiffanyap...  for more details.  Also, a shout out to the She's Got Metal (Netherlands) page for discovering the music on my album and offering to list me in their directory.  Also, a shout out to Grins From Below Reviewzine (Texas, US) for being a support to the music as well.  Another shout out to David Feralwolf (New York,US) for joining my street team via facebook.  You can find info for joining the street team (yahoo group, myspace, or facebook) on www.myspace.com/tiffanyap...
Well, that's all for now folks
    Have a great night.

SongVault, album sales, Eventful, Indieshows.net Battle of Bands

Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 08:46 PM EST [General]

    Hello everyone,

I received some really nice news from the folks at SongVault.  First, "Ghost" managed to crack the top 10 in the Adult Contemporary Charts peaking at number 5 and remaining in the top 10 for a little over a month.  "Ashes to Dust" cracked the top 10 in their Alternative/Goth Charts also remaining there for about a month.  "Scarborough Fair" cracked the top 20 (number 19) on their World Music Charts.  But that's not all:)  "Ghost" and "Ashes to Dust" have both been 'promoted' to their next tiered station, SongVault Showcase due to their high placements on the charts.  This means that both songs are only two tiers away from being placed in the SongVault Directory and having permanent placement on the SongVault Radio network!  You can visit SongVault.fm and vote for my songs as well as check out some other bands and songs.  Cool stuff:)  Hopefully "Scarborough Fair" will make it in there too:)  Though, "Scarborough Fair" has remained in Radio Artistopia's Top 10 in their World Music Charts for about 4 months!

I also received an email from CDBaby stating that they have officially sold out of their copies of "Poet"!  Time to ship more copies pronto:)

In conjunction with the 2009 Tour, I now have a Demand It Widget from Eventful.com at the bottom of  my myspace page.  One of my favorite things to do is play shows and tour and we like to know where our fans are:)  So that we may plan this tour as well as future tours, we would love it if you would click on the Demand It widget and let us know you would like a show in your city and state.  We want to continue bringing you new songs as well as the old ones:)

    http://www.myspace.com/tiffanyapanmusic

I am currently sitting in 4th place on the IndieShows.net Battle of Bands.  Continue the votes:)

    http://battle.indieshows.net

Well, that's all for now folks.

    Tiffany
