Hello and a very Happy Holidays to everyone:)
I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things after being in sunny Florida for a week's vacation:)
Here's some news coming your way though:
I am happy to announce the world premiere of my first music video, "Run Away and Hide" on December 6, 2008. IndiMusic TV (IMTV) will be premiering the video both on it's Television station and it's website on the internet. For those of you in the New York Tri State area, you can watch the video on television on channel 10/55 on WLNY TV on Saturdays at 11pm. If you do not live in the NY tri state area, you can watch the video and others by clicking on the link below:
There is more though for the music video. This IMTV program is also sort of like a TRL (Total Request Live) type of show. You can also click on the videos to vote for them and the artist with the most votes ends up getting an entire episode dedicated to them. So on December 6, not only can you watch the video, but you can vote for it and put in the top 10 to be in the running to win an entire episode:)
The always supportive people at Karmacaffe.com has featured me in their music section:) Thanks again, Chandi!
While in Florida, I was informed by the fine folks at the British podcast show, The Celtic Myth Podshow, that they were interested in using my version of "Scarborough Fair" on their holiday/new years show! I will let you know of specific dates as to when the song will air, but you can check them out at the following link:
As some of you know, Jason and I founded our new production company, Poets Labyrinth Productions, in 2008. But, we are now unveiling the production company's new homes on the web. If you are on myspace, add us here at http://www.myspace.com/poetslabyrinthproductions
There is a new chance to win an autographed copy of Poet! We are doing a special holiday contest for those on the mailing list. Names will be drawn on December 23 (the day before Christmas Eve). In addition to winning a CD, you will also win an 8x11 of Jason and myself signed by both of us and a signed poster from my 'Poet' CD release party! If you already have the CD, give the won copy to a friend and keep the signed photos for yourself:) Simply sign up for the monthly mailing list and you're in! The mailing list is on my myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/tiffanyapanmusic
Well, we took the next step up:D While yes, we do have your standard 'paper' press/media kits, I'm unveiling *drum roll* our new electronic/digital press kits!
We are professionals now or at least moreso than before:P These will be modified as time goes on, but these are the beginnings of them.
We are preparing for our shows this October (which actually take place next weekend). We are in our last couple shows for the 2008 Poet Tour as we wind down for the end of the year and the holidays. We plan to resume the tour in the spring of 2009.
Our show on October 24 takes place at one of our favorite venues, The Art Center in Butler, PA. We will be performing at their Gallaria of Horrors Costume Gala. While we have been performing with a little bit of a stage show with props and costume pieces, this will be our first show with an all around theme. The theme is based around Edgar Allen Poe and H.P. Lovecraft. The name of the show is "The Raven Beyond the Wall of Sleep." Act 1 is entitled "The Raven" and Act 2 is "Beyond the Wall of Sleep." Yes, it is in two acts partially due to the Art Center's costume contest which will take place during intermission. The show also includes and partially new setlist. In addition to the Art Center's Costume Contest, we have a charity raffle. For those of you who like Living Dead Dolls, you will have a chance to win one in our charity raffle! Raffle Tickets will only be $1.00 and names will be drawn after the show. The first name drawn wins a Living Dead Doll. The second name drawn wins a Halloween Candle set. Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Animal Friends of Pittsburgh. Of course, we will also have copies of my album along with the Halloween Treats Special, so don't miss out:)
October 25 (also my birthday) will bring a show in Canton, OH at the Arabica Coffeehouse. It will be a more intimate and slightly broken down show, but a few props and costume pieces will still be used.
I've discovered new areas on the internet to get more info on my upcoming shows as well as the shows of other independant and signed artists. Visit these cool sites:
I was just informed by the guys of Rough Edge Radio that I will be featured as their Artist of the Week on their radio talk show The Backseat Mogul! This will air tomorrow at 2pm and I will let you all know if it is downloadable or not. The show airs ..FM.com ( http://www.errorFM.com ) . You can also find more info on the show's myspace http://www.myspace.com/backseatmogul
Just letting you know that the first podcast show for Rough Edge Radio is now available. The show features three songs of mine off of the album 'Poet' along with some work from other great bands. Show us all some love by listening at the following link:

Hello everyone,
For all you fans in the United Kingdom, I'm happy to say that my debut album 'Poet' is now available there through the Femme Metal Webzine. Just click on the link belowe and Caz and the rest of the Femme Metal Zine gang will assist you:
I also have to thank Radio Zeta for being the newest radio station to spin my tunes. Their rotation is every Wednesday and Saturday so be sure to listen and email in requests for my songs:) The link to the station is belowe:
Also, thanks to Femme Metal Webzine, I will soon have a forum set up for me. It is still in the process of being set up and we will let you know when it is completely up and running.
On a sadder note, I went to send an email saying hello to a theatre group I worked with frequently when I was in high school in Wilkes-Barre, PA. I visit their website for the first time in years only to find that one of the theatre's most beloved members and contributers passed away in April:( Reverend Joseph T. Gilbert (or "Father Joe" as we would call him) was not only an asset to the arts and the community but he was also a dear friend. I will more than likely post more of my thoughts in my Road Journal.
