About Me: Hey, I'm Jen, from Australia :) I was drawn to the world of Faery from an early age, and just love spending my spare time even now, painting and drawing elves, faeries, witches, vampires, and any wonderful creature of dark, otherworldly beauty.
I love to read and write poetry, and have had some poems published in anthologies, and used as lyrics in songs. I am inspired in both my writing and artwork by Norse and Celtic mythology, fantasy and pre-Raphaelite art, the works of JRR Tolkien and JK Rowling, gothic rock/metal music (HIM, COF, and Nightwish), and stories and poetry of impossible love, (especially the works of WB Yeats, Lord Byron, John Keats, and song lyrics by Ville Valo and Dani Filth). When I'm not drawing, I love to play the guitar, or play The Sims 2!

I love art and photography books, poetry collections - especially work by WB Yeats, Lord Byron, John Keats, and Francis W Bourdillon. I also love horror/thriller novels (has to be tame or lame horror, or I scare myself too much! lol), and super-mushy vampire romances V^^^V

Hello there Jen, thank you for being here on EF. I always enjoy looking at your art - The Dark Rose piece is awesome, I love the gossamer webs and glowing jewels, it has a great atmosphere. BeI love your taste in films and TV - my sister and I tried to teach my adorable two year old nephew how to pose with his little pinky at the corner of his mouth, he was so gorgeously cute! (I do this myself to break the tension of a moment sometimes, I know you'll understand...)
