The holidays kept me so busy that this is the first opportunity I've had to log back into here. o_O My sincerest apologies to those who had left me friend requests and had to wait so long for me to respond. :(
I hope everyone's holidays were good and that your new year will be even better. :)
My resolution for this year? I'm going to be doing a big update and then putting my main website on hiatus for awhile this year so that I can focus on something different. I'm very happy with the direction that my newer project is headed in, though, and it may very well be the path I ended up walking for a long time. We shall see... ;)
I currently have 5 auctions of original paintings up, if anyone's interested in taking a peek at them. Two ACEOs, one OSWOA and two larger 8.5x11 paintings.
How odd! I moved both the lavender plant and butterfly bush to the kitchen sink (which is right below a window) and now they're both happy as little clams. Unfortunately for them, this arrangement won't last long because I'm going to need my kitchen sink back once the hubby and I move into the new place. ;) But, for now, it seems to be working out great for the plants.
As Mich recommended, my little lavender plant is getting full sunlight and doing well, so far. I've also added a purple butterfly plant to the mix. ;) My new livingroom currently doesn't have any curtains in the two, large front windows and there's a shelf all the way across below them. That's where my plants now sit, bathed in sunlight. Eventually, they'll move out to the front yard...it's just a matter of finding a safe place where they won't be mowed over accidentally. o_O
I bought a little lavender plant today as I'm in need of some new plants for my livingroom. Unfortunately, I'm not exactly the world's greenest thumb (varying shades of brown would be more accurate, actually). Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to care for the cute lil' thing? :)
