About Me: Built for comfort not for speed. Over the years I have learned so much from my mistakes I am thinking of making a few more! Wow! It's the end of February already. I know there are people here that miss the interaction with Be and I just wanted to say that, although she is doing well, she isn't up to coming back to EF. In fact she hasn't looked at a computer in over a year. Thank you for all the kind words you've sent her, they are much valued and appreciated. Please feel free to continue to send messages through me.

You all seem to be interacting without our involvement and that is how is was always meant to be. Enjoy this place. This haven from the outside pressures of life and thank you all for being part of this magical space.

I happened across EF again after being away, I’m not prone to virtual socializing but I followed Orchid here and liked it. While the face book seems a permanent addition to our world, I think now that the thrill of having thousands of face book generated sudo-friends has faded folks stay with it more out of habit than out of enjoyment or enrichment. All this time I’ve been away and this site remains a community, it’s worth it to be here. Still recovering from Christmas but I’ll scrape up a few bucks and help out ASAP. Thanks for hanging in there.

Dear Enchanted Folk everywhere

Merry Christmas to all.

Thank you for being here. It's been a challenging year for us and it is true that we do not spend the time here we once used to but that is the beauty of this place, it has a will of its own. You all have made that happen and despite the occasional mischief maker of spam things are pretty tranquil and self policed.

You comments about this site and how important it is to many of you really struck a chord and we will continue to keep the site open but it is expensive - it costs $50 per month to rent the space, so any contributions via PayPal are gratefully received.

May we wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year and may you all shine brightly at what ever you aim to accomplish in 2012.

Are you still benefiting from Enchanted Folk

Dear wonderful EFers

We have been running this social network for several years now and in that time I know people have found it a refuge from other places and enjoyed interacting here but, is it still of benefit to you. It costs us to fund the site every month and, as long as people are still using the site for more than just advertising their latest sale then I would deem it has worth but if everyone is now mostly FB orientated perhaps now is the time for EF to think about closing. I really want your opinions so please continue to comment on this blog. Thank you and blessings to you all.

Hi Drew,

Sad to say, I have not been using EF as I once did. With Be needing to focus her attentions elsewhere, and with the demise of Faezine, it seems as if the binding force that held us together has dissolved. All good things must come to an end.

Thanks to you and Be for providing a wonderful place for us to play and express ourselves.

I am not as active here as I was. I do still visit most weeks and have made new friends on here this year. I would be sad to see Enchanted Folk go. Some friends I only talk to on Enchanted Folk! I am still posting at least some arty stuff here, and it is not with links to sell it. My last post was about my blog giveaway because I wanted to share it with the lovely people here on EF :)

I have been here since close to the beginning of Enchanted Folks creation. I have made so many new friends here, many which I have had the pleasure of meeting even in real life! I still come here almost everyday to "see what's happening". I do struggle with the "Blogging" aspect as my personality tends to be more making comments and messages to specific people.
I would miss Enchanted Folks and I think the sadness of it fading away is felt on many levels for me. I have been lucky enough to also be a part of Faezine and to share with Be in her passion for creating a haven for like minded people and also an e-zine to share their diverse and amazing talents.
But, of course, I do understand why it may be time for it to come to an end. I will always be supportive of yours and Be's decision, whatever it may be.
Just know that I have always appreciated all the effort and work that went in to Enchanted Folks and Faezine and being a part of it has been a treasure in my life.
