I know I am not losing my mind; it's been gone for years!

Life seems to have grabbed ahold of me and is twisting me through the cone of a tornado. I wonder where I will land?

Next weekend our regional belly dance group is producing our annual spring show with the amazing Isidora Bushkovski.  I am thrilled beyond belief, but there are so many miles before I sleep!  Not only do I have to finish my own dance pieces, but there is still marketing to do, as well as putting together the programs, finishing my costumes, organizing volunteers, selling tickets, herding dancers...

I would like to sleep sometime this week, too.

Maybe I'll at least have some fun photos and videos to post after it is all over!

The first of May -- what a magickal time.  We already danced around the maypole over the weekend, so perhaps today was a little anticlimactic, especially when spending the whole day at work.  I was a little thrown off by the snow flurries, too.  Such is life in the mountains!  I needed the reminder of the frivolity of life that this holy day encapsulates.  If every moment was spent in an attitude of gay splendor (with a little kinkiness sprinkled in for good measure) I think it would be harder to be stressed and harried.  There must be a bit of joy in each task we undertake.  Oh geez!  I am sounding like Mary Poppins.  Blessings for Beltane!
