I'm a little nervous about joining an online community, but have always felt a strong connection to the faerie realm and would love to find out about other faerie folk!

About Me: I developed an aggressive form of Juvenile Arthritis when I was 16, & now have to use a wheelchair. Due to extensive joint damage, have had to have many operations to fuse & replace most joints. The faeries and angels who have been around me all my life have helped me to cope better with the pain, though.
I met my husband when I was 16 and although he finds my belief in angels and faeries "weird",he is the most amazing person that I've ever met. I gave birth to our gorgeous son, on the 6th February 2008 and am so grateful to my faery and angel friends for looking after both of us during my pregnancy. I have always had a very strong connection to elementals, especially sylphs, and have got vivid memories of living in the faerie realm.

Books: Fantasy ... again. All time favourite has to be Lord of the Rings.
Likes: I adore my baby son, my husband, my cats, the winter, snow, thunderstorms, rain and listening to the sound of the wind.
Dislikes: People who don't wash their hands after using the toilet.
People who drop litter. Smoking. Cruelty to animals, children and trees. Swearing. Racism, sexism and bigotry.
Hobbies: Animal welfare (Cat's Protection League; PETA; BUAV) Classical literature. Ancient history. Celtic, Norse & Ancient Greek mythology/ folklore/ legends. Going to ballets, plays & rock concerts. Role-playing games. I used to play the piano and french horn but haven't been able to for many years due to my hands being bad.
Vices: Shyness ... I get extremely nervous around people.
I giggle way too much!
