I don't get to draw lycanthropes nearly enough, so here's a rather nice couple for everyone. They're sneaking off from the party to celebrate on their own! (The original is in my public gallery.)

The original is 7.5"x9.5", being matted to fit a 10"x13" frame. I do have prints available already, with the original size being matted to fit 11"x14" or a 6"x8" matted to fit an 8"x10" frame. Yeah, I try to stick to standard sizes, easier to frame that way. :)

The original is on bristol paper, created with micron pen, india ink, watercolor paints, watercolor pencils, white acrylic paint (I need to invest in some gouche) and Liquid Leaf for the shiny metal bits. (I use Liquid Leaf to make it a little more decorative!)

I *really* like this couple, the movement was very fun to draw!

So, I don't draw males very often, but I do like this gentleman very much. Hope everyone likes him as well. :)

I think my favorite parts are his tattoos... ;)

What a long strange trip this past month has been! I have finished my triptych of the Maiden-Mother-Crone, completed a dragon piece and moved on to an elven shaman.

First off, Summer Mother:

I based her little boy off my own son a bit, with his curly hair and big blue eyes. ;) I really like this piece, I think it's very, very sweet!

Now, Autumn Crone:

Quite possibly, my favorite! I just love the color in this.

Next, my dragon piece entitled Blot Out the Sun:

He's very, very bright and bold!

Next, the line-art for my Guardian.

The knotwork was all done by hand. I made a grid to do it, then worked from there. Oi. I want his coat...

Whew! So that's been my month. Crazy, crazy, crazy...

It's been a very weird week for me. Amidst the turmoil, I managed to finish the first part of my triptych.

Maiden Spring. She's tiny, the paper only measures 5"x7", the picture is down to 4"x6" to allow for matting. I wanted a riot of spring colors for her, but bright and bold, no pastels for this girl! Autumn is next, then I'll get Summer done. I know, I'm not progressing in the right order, but that's how they're coming to me. I guess these ladies aren't too particular on following everything to the letter...

I like this smaller size. It's fun to work with but a bit tricky.

Finally, my Zombeh in Technicolor is finished!
