Dearest Alexandra, aren't you clever *big grin* Megan is just Adorable, the cutest witch I ever did see... Thank you for sharing her first Hallowe'en with us ~ in contrast, we have a house here filled with 30 teenagers partying hard overnight, while we try to 'hide' upstairs with a cup of tea, eek! You can probably hear the noise in Hampshire... Did I mention before ~ make the most of these quiet times =) hahaha!!

    Baby Dawe!

Monday, September 8, 2008, 06:18 AM EST [General]

I'm delighted to say that Megan Elizabeth Dawe was born at 3.09pm on the 28th August, weighing 8lb 6oz. She's absolutely beautiful, we're completely besotted.

Megan is doing very well, she's very healthy and demanding! Us first-time parents are in a state of shock, any tips from experienced parents are greatly appreciated!

And apologies for being VERY behind with emails and messages, I think I'll be playing catch-up for the next 18 years!

Sending all three of you abundant pink bubbles of love.

Congratulations! Megan is a beautiful baby. As you are quickly finding out a new baby is a life changing experience....the most wonderful and sometimes difficult all at the same time. The best advice is the one you hear most often: try to enjoy and soak up every moment because it Really does go by fast, even though it doesn't seem like that right now:)

I have a 9 year old and a 23 year old. My oldest is now married and just had their first baby last May....I can't believe I am a Grandma already. Talk about being in a state of shock....

Well, I wish the best for you all,

    PixieSwishes,

    Dearest Alexandra and Pete, wow, well done you! Welcome little Megan Elizabeth to our world, we are all the more blessed to have your magical company here ~ your special mummy & daddy are going to have such fun & the most wonderful time of their lives altogether as a new family ~ Drew & I send you many enchanted wishes & happy thoughts *big smiles* {As you asked my friend, I'll pass on the only good advice I ever received, "Just ignore all the helpful suggestions & always listen to your own intuition & go with your gut instinct" ~ which, coincidentally, seems to come with the birth *grin* twenty years later mine is still going strong & hasn't failed me yet... you'll be fine I know.}

    Hugs from all the Monty's,

    Baby!

Friday, June 13, 2008, 01:13 PM EST [General]

I'm delighted to say I'm 30 weeks pregnant with our first baby! My husband and I are so excited! It's due in August. We don't know if it's a boy or a girl, their legs were firmly crossed on the last scan, and that was our last opportunity to find out until the big day. It has made baby shopping tricky!

I'll try and limit the number of cute baby photos I post once the baby arrives!

Hi Alexandra! Thank u for your friendship and for looking at my dollies : )
You are right about not getting much stuff in the UK but I have always found the Korean companies and people great to deal with. And they are so creative with their dolls too!
I didn't recognise your little Luna - is she very small ?
My Fairyland Pip is only 10cm tall, small in stature, big on personality !

Hey Funny Girl :P skippin' by to pay homage for your delicious column in our EF Faezine, I am totally loving the new sketch that I just added to the Spring issue *giggles* with a brilliant title! I greatly appreciate your wonderful uplifting humour that sustained me through the long hours it took to launch our new venture, a delight indeed. I have had such fun working on this special project, especially as it contained unexpected joys too and continues to do so... Thank you dear Alex friend for your much appreciated friendship and inspiration ~ my love to you all. (Drew's looking forward to his cake ;o)

Hello Alexandra, thank you for being part of the EF community and sharing your beautiful work. I really love your amazing Sea Siren, I can almost hear those waves crashing about her and know she'll be invigorated by them - you can tell I feel rather land-locked here too! I hope we can meet up again soon, kettle's always on here if you're ever in the Cotswolds...

    Big smiles,

Your artwork is very sensitive (in a good way, of course) and your style is well suited to the ethereal. I especially love the SpiderWoman piece, and I really appreciate the ambiguity of it - I cannot tell if the maiden is kindred to the spiders or if she has fallen victim to a poison-induced slumber. I hope you do not mind if I "friend" you.
