We have nagged and nagged our website man ( who just happens to be my brother in law !!!) as we wanted our site to be bit more Christmassy now that people will be looking for pressies to buy.

After lots of us saying "can we just try a diff background" and "can that writing be a different colour" etc etc  i am glad to say that it is all done.

We love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All we need now are people to see it !! So would you mind having a look and letting me know what you think.

Have been busy this last weekend selling fairies - well i say selling fairies it might have helped if any people actually turned up to the fairs we did !!!

The one we did on Saturday ended up being in a room about the size of my living room , upstairs and on a road where there was no parking !!!!!

Think  about 6 people came through the door !!!

A drunk from the pub downstairs bought one of our musical fairies then bought it back half an hour later as it wasn't working !!!

Ended up having to give him a replacement even though it had been working when he took it !! Am sure he overwound it , but what can you do ??!!!!!

Sunday we were at a mind , body and Spirit fair in a village hall. We did OK but the last 2 hours had no-one through the door , good job there was a party going on in the room next door so we could sing a long to lots of great 80's tunes !!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday was another mind , body and spirit fair in a different village hall. Unfortunately there were about 7 people through the door all night even though the organiser had done lots of advertising.

So think all in all once we had paid for the stalls etc we didn't have enough money left to replace the few things we sold , let alone come away in profit !!  

HOW DEPRESSING !!!!!

On the good side though we have actually had a few internet orders so we are keeping our fingers crossed that we will get few more before Xmas, then we can go and have a good "social" time at our fairs and not get fed up when we don't make a profit !!!!!!!

Like i said at the start things can only get better - i hope !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow it is such a lovely day here today, lovely and sunny but with a little nip in the air !!

Need to do a few boring things like housework and pay some bills first thing , but am thinking that me , kids and OH should go for little trip somewhere this afternoon.

We are lucky as have woods and seaside not too far away and i am feeling that i need to go somewhere like that rather than to the shops, hee hee think i need a bit of nature !!!!!

Have had bit of brainache trying to think of ways to advertise our online shop, it's so hard when budget is very limited and we mostly have to go by word of mouth, but yesterday i discovered google adwords so am hoping that this might make people aware of the website.

We had great "making" session last week and made some shepherd hook bookmarks with crystals and fairy charms hanging from them, they looked gorgeous ( might keep one for myself !! hee hee can you see why we don't make big profit - it's cos we like all the stuff and end up buying it from ourselves !!!!)

If they sell when we are out and about then we will make some more to put on the site.

It's so nice to be invited to a special place just for all of us fairy lovers !!!!

My life always seems to be so busy, but am going to try and find time to blog here as much as i can !

As well as working part time as an audiologist, looking after my 2 children, my partner and the house , me and my sister started a little business last year and you will never guess what we sell !!!

We managed think up a name and then were estatic that the website for that name was free so we bought that (www.believeinfairies.co.uk) and we have spent the last year attending psychic fairs, pamper evenings etc etc to try and introduce people to the wonders of fairies ( especially Amy Brown's diva's which are our favourites !!!)

We have also been trying to make some of our own things aswell including fairy doors, which we love. The problem is when we explain to people that the fairies need the doors to go backwards and forwards from Fairyland , most of them look at us as though we are completely mental !!!!!!!

There are just not enough magical people in this world !

It has been very hard work for us but we are hoping that our first fairy Xmas will be a good one so we can make some money to spend it all again on some new fairys ( maybe few Nene Thomas and Jasmine Beckett Griffith ones next time)
