Hello All!!

I'm not much at blogging, so I'll give this a try...

My name is Candace Sams. I write fantasy, fiction novels that involve all kinds of legendary creatures.

The photo I've chosen to represent me is the cover of my first title (released originally in 2002 and still available), called Gryphon's Quest.

This book obviously has something to do with gryphons (pronounced 'griffon' - though I hardly think folks on this list would need a phonetic guide ). Gryphon's Quest is the first title in the Tales of The Order series. The series outlines how mythic creatures live and hide in our contemporary world.

The Tales of The Order

Gryphon's Quest (about a man who can shapeshift into a gryphon)

The Gazing Globe  (about a New England farmer who learns that he's a fairy)

Stone Heart (about a stone gargoyle coming to life)

Goblin Moon (the problems encountered by the last of the goblins on Earth)

The Craftsman (how the Order of mythical creatures is almost destroyed by greed - to be released soon)

Satyr (coming soon)

Keeper of The Loch (coming soon)

If all this sounds like blatant promotionalism...it is...I won't deny it . But this is who I am and have been for about the last eleven years or so. I love writing fantasies, though I don't expect them to be for everyone. You have to have a spark of the fae in you to want to read some of this stuff. But I write what I do because I love the subject matter. I never said I was good at it - but maybe someday I'll hit a best seller list somewhere. I'll be putting some ads in Faerie Magazine sooner or later, so be looking for me there.
