Here she is ... The Primogen Fae of the Manis Clan. She is an elder from the Glen of Lellouche. She took some time to complete as she is totally needle felted from head to toe, including her translucent gown. But I think she was worth the effort.

The Faes of Lellouche

I've recently began a journey into the realm of the Fae's known as the Glen of Lellouche. It's a journey that I think I've been preparing for all of my life. On this journey I am actualling finding my own way in my own style with the promise of magic at journey's end. I am finding that on this journey there will be many challenges that will test not only me, but my faith ... but it is a Journey now long overdue. In the subtle Glen of Lellouche the Faes are of many clans. Currently I am working on the Mantis Clan. But recently I have created one of the members of the Fae's of Lellouche and she has taken her own Journey to the West. I enjoyed the heartfelt work of her creation and miss her presence, but know she had her own way to forge:
She turned out to be a beautiful Fae .... I thank her new "Friend" for the challenge to my craft and helping me become a much better artist. The wackey world of Fae

About to complete my first Male Fae and actually nearly completed another female Fae like the one in my Avatar. Waiting for the first coat to dry on my wings. She's kinda cute if I do say so myself. I'll post WIP photo's in the next blog. Thanks for all the compliments!
New Year ... new sculpts

Working on a new line of sculpts. I have an Art Festival in April and A gallery showing in May. I've started a story that I will sculpt characters from. The piece I use as my Avatar was sold back in November , she was to be my main character in the story. So now I'm starting it all over again. But what better time to start then with a New Year. I'll chronical my journey here in my blog and welcome any and all critique. For the time being as I finish a sculpt I'll have a brief background description of the character and possibly a scene from the story that will go with each character. This should be quite interesting as I have male characters and have never attempted a male before, but I hadn't made a Fairy before April either! Well I'll try to get some pics loaded by the weekend and I'll post as often as there is something new.
