I do use Gar as the center just not in my readings. I'm going to expand on using it and others once I have more of an understanding on them. The book I have read more recently on runes is the book called "Runes: Theory and Practice" and I cant say I have a favorite author or book yet as I have not read many, but I do have two people whose teachings I favor most: Raven Kaldera and Galina Kosskova

my favorite reading on druidism is "The 21 Lessons of Merlin" it goes in to the different practices, history, both good and bad, and how catholisism takes a lot of their views from druidism. and I use the 24 set futhark with the wyrd as a 25 in my readings but i am studying more on the anglo-saxon "extra-9" as I call it

I am studying all kinds of Celtic culture; the Norse, Germanic, Gaulish, Gaelic, Anglo-Saxon and traditional Celtic, as well as druidic culture. Its all fascinating to me being as I am of Celtic descent in all these sub-types.
