OK, I didn't break anything yet, this is good. I was able to get tickets for Comic-con, last time I wait until after the event.

Car died the day before Turkey day - well lets see it was 15 years old and had 222K miles on it. Got a 2 year old Pilot, getting used to it, really like it and the dogs love it. Now I can travel wherever I want. Went up to Idlywile last week, about 100 miles away, it's a tiny community in the mountians, never been there before. Patches of snow, cold, but beautiful. It's about 5000 feet up.

Next month, travelling further, Lake Arrowhead, then to the high desert to a Wedding of relatives. Looking forward to Arrowhead, get to bring the dogs :)  They seem to like to travel.

Holidays were good, just have problem with all they hype for one day. It was spare on my part because I needed money for the new car. But it was nice to be with family and friends without the "high cost" of gifts. Much better way to celebrate. Good food, good people!

4-day tickets are already sold out as of 2 weeks ago, and I don't have mine yet. Have to buy individual days - sheesh, thought I had all the time in the world. Individuals go on sale 12/15. Nice X-mas gift.

Thats my quick note.

Hot - humid for San Diego. After about 3 weeks of unseasonably cool weather, it has gotten hot. Most of you have probably seen the fire reports in LA, I am about 120 miles south. No fires in San Diego, yet this season. Which is good, because our fighters are in LA, and Monterey I believe. It's late. I live with a crazy person, going to lose the house, no suprise. Maybe have to be out sooner that anticipated, we'll see. Making applications to Law School for next fall.  Scary. Missed meditation tonight, dealing with crazy person, back at the gym tomorrow, if nothing else to release the stress of crazy person.

Best friend is cured. It was a type of cancer which is curable, and that seems to have happened.  She will get checked periodically, of course, and she says that Chemo bites the big one. But we celebrate here in San Diego.
